Part of the MBP Spring Style Guide
Spring is here! We couldn't be more excited for spring in the Witt House. We have a new baby to love, Pre-K graduation is right around the corner for big brother, and then we'll have summer to look forward to! My body is recovering from being pregnant, and adjusting to life with a new baby. I have been super bloated, uncomfortable, and my feet have looked and felt just as swollen as they did at nine months pregnant. I just gave birth 1 1/2 weeks ago, so my personal style right now is all based around comfort.
Therafit knows a thing or two about comfort and support. One of my absolute favorite shoe brands, Therafit makes it their business to keep women's feet stylish and comfortable. I have three pairs of Therafit shoes (one a sneaker/flat, a ballet flat, and the other a sandal), and love them, because of their stylish design, and undeniable support systems. Therafit has created fashionable, comfortable shoes - perfect for all hours of a woman's day. Developed with today's active woman in mind, Therafit believes in empowering women to embrace wellness in all aspects of their lives. They know that combining fashion with comfort gives women a solid foundation, both at work and at play.
Endorsed by the National Posture Institute, their patented technology provides cushioning and support helping to reduce the aches and pains that come from the stress of everyday activities. Therafit Shoe worked very closely with Cornell University Professor Dr. Richard Lennihan, an avid runner and pioneering vascular surgeon, to create the unique patented technology used in every one of their products. Utilizing the patented Personalized Comfort System (PCS), each shoe lets you adjust the impact protection and cushion level to fit your personal needs. You decide what works best for you.
Therafit has some gorgeous new sneaker and sandal styles for spring. All Therafit footwear comes packaged in a colorful Therafit shoebox.
In each Therafit box- the shoes, of course, an info card, and a Therafit tote bag. I love the Therafit shoebox, too- the polka dots are so cute!
I love the Therafit totes- they're awesome to have on hand!
There's a ton of information about the Therafit Personalized Comfort System included.
The PCS is a great way to customize your comfort level with Therafit shoes and sandals. Each pair is uniquely designed, so you can remove the knobs for more or less support for your feet and back. As baby S grows, I know that my posture is going to suffer (it did when B was a baby, and I found myself not being able to stand up straight!). The constant nursing and carrying/holding a new baby definitely takes a toll on one's back and shoulders. Being able to adjust the Therafit shoes to my own personal level of comfort is a huge win for this tired mommy.
I was sent the beautiful Flora Sandals in Pewter- a gorgeous new color for spring!
I was drawn to the sleek and stylish design of the Floral Leather Sandals, knowing that I would be able to customize the support level of the sandal was an added bonus!
I am pretty picky about what I wear- particularly on my feet. I want my shoes to reflect my style, but they also have to be practical. Gone are the days of me wearing heels. I have two littles to keep up with and care for, and I can't be bothered with worrying about whether or not I am going to twist an ankle in my own shoes. Therafit sandals are well-fitting, stylish, and supportive.
The Flora Leather Sandals feature a beautiful thong style sandal, and are embellished with tiny little flowers. These sandals offer a pretty, feminine look to an otherwise classic design.
Here's a closer look at the PCS.
Just slide out the little notches in the foot bed of the sandal to adjust the support/comfort level. I like full support, so I leave the notches alone in my Therafit shoes and sandals. If I wanted a little less, I would take one, two, or all three of the notches out, for a lighter feel.
The Therafit Flora Leather Sandals look great with pants, dresses, or skirts for spring and summer!
Since I just had a baby, I am wearing loose-fitting pants, so nothing rubs against my c-section incision, In a couple of weeks, I am hoping to be back in some of my normal clothes. I am most looking forward to wearing maxi skirts this spring and summer. I know the Flora Sandals are going to look great with them, and they'll offer the support that I need to tote along our new baby, and keep up with our five-year-old.
