Safe Baby Care Products You Can Trust: Baby Comfy Care

Thank you to Baby Comfy Care for providing me with product, free of charge, in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts and opinions shared are my own.

Caring for a new baby can be pretty nerve-racking. I remember the first few days and weeks after we brought B home from the hospital very well. While we were trying to adjust to a whole new life with our precious little baby, we were also trying to figure out how in the world we were going to manage simple care regarding things like clipping his nails, home baths, dealing with nasal congestion, etc. It was a whole new world, and we were a bit overwhelmed by the responsibility, as new parents often are.

This time around, as we wait for the arrival of our beautiful baby girl, I am far less nervous about these things. I feel that we'll have a much better handle on baby care, and the real challenge with be adjusting to life with two children. Having the right baby care products can make all the difference in the world for new and seasoned parents.

BabyComfyCare

I was excited for the opportunity to check out a couple of products from Baby Comfy Care. I had seen advertisements for their safe nail clippers and nasal aspirators, but I have been out of the baby game for a few years, and didn't have a need for them until now.

Baby Comfy Care was founded in 2013, and specializes in unique, award-winning products for babies: Baby Comfy Nose, Baby Comfy Nail, and Baby Comfy Sun.

I was sent both the Baby Comfy Nail and the Baby Comfy Nose.

Baby Comfy Nail is an innovative baby nail clipper, intended for use with newborns and beyond.

I remember being terrified to trim B's nails when he was a baby. Baby fingernails are paper thin, and they need to be trimmed almost immediately after birth, so they don't scratch themselves. B was probably almost a year old before I felt comfortable using baby nail clippers to trim his nails. Before that time, I just used an Emory board to file them, which was tricky, because the nails we so very thin.

Baby Comfy Nail is so clever! It's an award-winning product, and has been featured in several magazines as a must-have baby care product. The nail clippers actually hold the skin on the finger back, so you're only clipping the nail. I have accidentally clipped my son's skin while trimming his nails before, and I have felt so terrible afterward for hurting him. Baby Comfy Nail makes it easier than ever to trim baby's nails!

Baby Comfy Deluxe Safety Clipper

I have actually tried the Baby Comfy Nail Clippers with my son. They're perfect, and easy to use. We've sort of integrated nail trimming into his post bath or shower routine, before we read together and have cuddles before he goes to bed. We've had zero ouchies from Baby Comfy Nail, which I am thankful for. B has sort of funky toenails, which grow funnily, and have to be trimmed very few days. The Baby Comfy Nail Clippers make trimming his nails a breeze. I am hoping that they'll be just as easy to use with Baby S in a few weeks.

PATENTED SINGLE-BLADE TECHNOLOGY won't cut baby's skin; This is the first nail clipper designed to prevent baby's skin from getting cut; Unique baby nail clipper design. A reinvention of the nail clipper for babies.
THE BOTTOM SMOOTH LEDGE holds baby's fingertip skin safely back so only the nail gets cut, not the skin.
PROTECTS FROM CUTTING TOO CLOSELY TO THE SENSITIVE NAIL BED; The bottom ledge extends out slightly so you can't cut too closely to the sensitive nail bed.  A game-changer for infant nail clippers.
LARGER THAN STANDARD CLIPPERS BY DESIGN so it's easier to hold and operate. A safer nail cutter for babies.
DURABLE SMOOTH BOTTOM LEDGE lasts for thousands of cuts.

We were also sent the very cool Baby Comfy Nose Aspirator.

I remember using the nasal aspirator that we were sent home with from the hospital after B was born. In fact, I think we still have it! Having a baby with a stuffy nose is so hard to deal with. Babies are often congested after birth, and clearing their nasal passages can be difficult. B absolutely hated when we had to use the aspirator, and we dreaded using it whenever he was stuffy or sick.

Baby Comfy Nasal Aspirator

Baby Comfy Nose uses your own suction as the most effective method to remove nasal mucus
Two soft nose tips included: Standard & Newborn
Uses household tissue as a filter – nothing else to buy!
Handy mesh dishwasher/storage pouch keeps pieces together
Medical-grade quality; 100 dishwasher cycle-tested
Baby Comfy Nose nasal aspirator uses your own suction to quickly and hygienically remove children’s nasal mucus.  Significantly more effective than bulb and battery aspirators because your natural lung suction is so much stronger.  The design of the aspirator eliminates any possibility of contact with mucus and germs.  Insert a tissue into the aspirator as a filter so there’s nothing else to buy.  The unit comes with two nose tips: standard and newborn. Medical grade soft nose tip and mouth piece.  The mesh storage pouch keeps all the pieces together in the dishwasher, then hang to dry and it’s ready for the diaper bag.  Three colors options are ideal for siblings and multiples.  BPA and phthalate-free.
