Caring for a new baby can be pretty nerve-racking. I remember the first few days and weeks after we brought B home from the hospital very well. While we were trying to adjust to a whole new life with our precious little baby, we were also trying to figure out how in the world we were going to manage simple care regarding things like clipping his nails, home baths, dealing with nasal congestion, etc. It was a whole new world, and we were a bit overwhelmed by the responsibility, as new parents often are.

This time around, as we wait for the arrival of our beautiful baby girl, I am far less nervous about these things. I feel that we'll have a much better handle on baby care, and the real challenge with be adjusting to life with two children. Having the right baby care products can make all the difference in the world for new and seasoned parents.

I was excited for the opportunity to check out a couple of products from Baby Comfy Care. I had seen advertisements for their safe nail clippers and nasal aspirators, but I have been out of the baby game for a few years, and didn't have a need for them until now.

I remember being terrified to trim B's nails when he was a baby. Baby fingernails are paper thin, and they need to be trimmed almost immediately after birth, so they don't scratch themselves. Before that time, I just used an Emory board to file them, which was tricky, because the nails we so very thin.

We were also sent the very cool Baby Comfy Nose Aspirator.

I remember using the nasal aspirator that we were sent home with from the hospital after B was born. In fact, I think we still have it! Having a baby with a stuffy nose is so hard to deal with. Babies are often congested after birth, and clearing their nasal passages can be difficult. B absolutely hated when we had to use the aspirator, and we dreaded using it whenever he was stuffy or sick.
