Best Teethers for Baby: Wristy Buddy #Review + #Giveaway

Thank you to Wristy Buddy for providing me with product, free of charge, in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.

Part of MBP's Maternity & Newborn Guide

With my due date just mere weeks away, my brain is on baby overload. I am having so many flashbacks to when B was a baby, and all of the joyful (and not so joyful) moments we experienced with him. Despite the colic he wound up with, B was a pretty happy baby, until he started teething! Around 3 months, B began teething, and we were up with him at all hours of the day and night, fighting fevers, and teething pain. One of the things he loved to do was to gum his teething toys (and our fingers), though they often wound up on the floor from being dropped so often.

Wristy Buddy offers a practical and clever solution for parents who have little teethers. Wristy Buddy was developed by a teacher & a mother for her teething infant son. Her son began to teethe around 3 1/2 months. However, he lacked the motor skills to hold traditional teething devices & would constantly chew on the sleeve of his clothing.

The founder of Wristy Buddy sought out a solution to her son’s dilemma & made a prototype. The prototype proved so successful with her son that she wanted other moms to be able to offer their early teethers relief as well & Wristy Buddy was born.

I was excited to receive a trio of Wristy Buddy teethers to check out. Baby S isn't here yet, but I know that she is going to love chewing on these smart and adorable teethers.

We received a cute elephant teether...

...an octopus...

...and a sweet little lamb.

Wristy Buddy is easy to use. I had no problem slipping Wristy Buddy onto the wrist of my five-year-old. It was a snug fit, and he said it was cute and comfortable. The soft toy is super soft and plush, giving baby something to look at and play with. The soft toy also includes a crinkle material, which babies will love! Baby can chew on the soft toy, squeeze or rub it, and hear the crinkle noise. Attached is the teether with little teether bumps, for baby to chew on.

B loved chewing in his sleeves. He was a very drooly baby, and always wound up with sopping wet sleeves, which I hated. Wristy Buddy gives baby a cute 2-in-1 toy and teether to play with and chew on, while being comfortably worn on their wrist.

My niece M is between 6-7 months, and is teething right now. She loves teething toys, but also loves to drop them on the ground. I am going to share one of the Wristy Buddy teethers with my sister-in-law, so M can enjoy playing with it, and chewing on it.

As a mom, I think Wristy Buddy is  a great product. No more worrying about packing teethers in the diaper bag, or worrying about them being dropped on the ground. I can't wait until we are able to let S use the Wristy Buddy on her wrist, and can't wait to see how she likes them. These would make a fantastic gift for a new baby, baby shower, etc.
