Today is Baptism of our Lord Sunday. Many Christians around the world will celebrate this day as we remember the day Jesus was baptized by his cousin, John the Baptist. It's a special Sunday for us particularly, because we had B baptized on Baptism of our Lord Sunday in 2008. He was just a little guy then! I enjoy looking back on this day, and remembering the promises that we made before God, and our church family, as his parents, as we gathered at the font. By our sides were B's godparents- his 'Uncle' Matt, and his Aunt Britt. Those two play such an important role in his life, as well.
We'll be celebrating our little man today, and remembering the baptism of Jesus, as well. We also give thanks for John the Baptist, and his ministry.

That's a Lovely Photo of the Family on Baptism Day!! To me it is also a very Special Day! My Girls were both Babies when we had their Baptism. A very Special Day in my Heart! I could just feel our Heavenly Father all around us! I love that feeling!
