We have a lot of little loves to be thankful for in our family. Our sweet niece just turned three months old, and hubby's best friend's little girl will be a year old in December. We have so many holiday gatherings and birthday parties coming up, that we've been sort of overwhelmed by all of the gift choices for little ones. Little ones can be hard to shop for, perhaps because they already have so much, or because you're just not quite sure what to get for them. I always appreciated gifts for B, that he could use a month or two down the road. Babies grow so quickly, they outgrow their toys and clothes in a flash!

One of the top holiday toys for 2015 from Little Tikes, is their Lil' Ocean Explorer Crawl 'n Pop Turtle. We were excited to receive a sneak peek at this adorable learning toy!

The Crawl 'n Pop Turtle is brightly colored, and comes with large shapes, perfect for little hands to grasp.

I love that this turtle is perfect for different stages of development. It's geared toward ages 6 mo+, which is about the time some babies begin crawling. The turtle comes with four large shape pieces, which can be picked up and 'sorted,' though this is not your average shape sorter! 

What an adorable face! Any child would love to play with this cute and friendly turtle!

The shapes fit right into their designated places, and pop back out for continuous play.

Large, colorful shapes are safe for little ones to grasp and play with.

There's also a fun surprise with this toy- the turtle crawls away, so baby can scoot after it, or crawl alongside of it. Baby will have so much fun laughing, and chasing after this adorable turtle. Catch it, and place the shapes back into their spots. Then, watch the shapes pop out, and the turtle begin to crawl away.

This is such a fun toy, and we can't wait to see our sweet niece M interact with this cute turtle.
