Easy Veggie Pizza Recipe #TastyTuesday

Easy Veggie Pizza

I LOVE vegetables! I was actually a vegetarian for 4 years and in those 4 years I learned a few things about what do to to jazz up my veggies. One of my favorite things is homemade veggie pizza. You honestly don't even miss the meat!

I start with a store bought thin crust and a jar or pre-made pizza sauce, you can use whatever kind of sauce and crust you like. Then I top it with thinly sliced zucchini..

Next comes fresh spinach and canned mushrooms. Canned mushrooms have a more meaty texture to them so this helps my husband not be overly sad that he isn't getting any meat.

Then I add fresh sliced mushrooms and artichoke hearts. I like to add onions too but I forgot to buy them.

And I top it with half a bag of part skim mozzarella cheese, you can use more if you wish.

After the cheese, I finish my pizza with some thinly sliced yellow squash and throw it in the oven. Normally Id let the cheese cook a little longer on my pizza, but we were in a hurry the night I made this one and I took it out sooner.
I hope you all get a chance to try to make your own veggie pizzas and really find out how delicious they can be! Let me know some of the combinations you like or that you try in the comment section below!
