Our JORD Watch arrived beautifully packaged, and we couldn't wait to see it.

JORD offered us a watch of choice, and when I presented the options to my husband, he thought I was joking. He was absolutely floored by the gorgeous options available from JORD. He had been eyeing wooden watches for some time, and was just blown away by the handsome designs by JORD. 

Sacha chose the handsome Dover Series Ebony & Rosewood Watch.

The watch was packaged in a lovely wooden box, bearing the JORD logo, and lined on the inside. The watch was situated around a little pillow. At first glance, my husband was in love with the watch. As if the watch band weren't elegant enough, the face of the watch just makes it stand out all the more- a real conversation starter!

This watch is so stunning. The combination of the ebony and rosewood is so unique, and makes the watch a true stand-out accessory. The contrast between the wood coloring is so eye-catching that we've noticed plenty of strangers craning their necks to get a good look at this watch, when Sacha has been wearing it.

One of the things we love about JORD, is that they will size the watch for you, before it's shipped. We were able to provide Sacha's watch size, and it was perfectly sized before it was sent out to us. Just in case- extra links were provided with the watch, in case we needed to do a little tweaking (which we didn't). Sacha loved not only the look of the watch, but was so pleased with the fit, that he was able to slip it right on and wear it, just after removing it from the box.

This is a self-winding, automatic watch, which means that it doesn't require a battery! Having to replace watch batteries can be a bit of an inconvenience, so this is a huge win for a busy guy like mine. To care for the watch, be careful about getting it wet. Although it can withstand water (it's splash-proof), it should never be submerged. The wood can be cared for with a lemon or orange oil extract.

One happy man...

Both Sacha and I love to glance over and see the Dover Series Ebony and Rosewood Watch by JORD on his wrist. I know he feels that this is a piece that he will treasure for years to come. He goes to extra lengths to care for it, and store it properly, which is more than he does for other watches in his collection. A JORD watch is a true collector's piece, and I look forward to helping him add more JORD timepieces to his collection.
