Spring Style at its Finest: Style Nut Boutique #Review- Part One

One of the things that I love most about spring, is color. Outside, everything is green once again, and beautiful colors are popping up all over my flower beds and little gardens. I like for my clothing to reflect the current season and trends, and I tend to lean toward fun and whimsical designs these days. Boutique fashion is a winner in my style book- there are so many fabulous designs to choose from, and you can really mix and match a lot of different pieces together, to create a perfect look. Boutique style is classy, chic, and effortless- but a good boutique with great pieces and affordable prices can be hard to find.

Style Nut Boutique

It's a good thing I don't mind sharing my style secrets with the world! I have found a chic boutique that I just know you are going to fall in love with! Style Nut Boutique Style Nut Boutique was the first jewelry and accessories auction on Facebook and a leader in the rapidly growing social commerce trend. The company provides fixed price designer and designer inspired jewelry, accessories and apparel at great prices. Their mission is to offer you:

Top Trends in clothing and accessories
Boutique quality items
Affordable pricing
Styles they are NUTS about

I was thrilled to connect with the team at Style Nut Boutique, who offered to send me some select styles from their spring arrivals. I made a few suggestions as to what I was drawn to style-wise, and the fabulous Marcia took care of the rest, Within just a few days, I had a fabulous package at my door, and I couldn't wait to see what was in it!

Marcia sent me three fabulous apparel pieces- two tunic dresses, one blouse, and three accessory items.

I was so excited by all of the beautiful colors popping from the pieces from Style Nut Boutique! I wear a lot of black, and solid wintry colors during the winter, so I was absolutely ready for a change of pace with new spring pieces! I wanted to wear everything at once, but knew that I needed to space these pieces out a bit. I saved one of my favorite pieces from this collection to wear after Easter, mainly because it featured a lot of white (and I stick to the no white between Labor Day and Easter rule, unless it's an ivory, cream or winter white.

Here I am in the gorgeous 3/4 sleeve paisley print dress.

How I wore it:
Dress- Style Nut Boutique
Leggings- Embellish Boutique (Local to me)
Sandals- Aerosoles
Accessories- Paparazzi Accessories
Sunglasses- Monroe & Main

This dress was so easy to style and wear. I want so desperately to be able to wear these types of dresses by themselves, but they really wind up being way too short- especially when I sit down. The white leggings pulled this look together, and gave the ensemble a semi-casual feel. The sandals were a great addition to the ensemble, and I added silver accessories (though if I'd had the right colors, I would have loved to add a statement necklace).

I love the pattern in this dress. I received a lot of compliments on the design, and the style. This is definitely a modern look, with a bit of a vintage throwback, while being elegant and chic. I was comfortable in this dress all day- it's very lightweight, and I loved the way it just draped over my body, but still had shape to it.

I was even comfortable wearing this dress when it was time to cuddle with my sweet son!

I wore this dress in a size small, and it was a great fit for me, other than being short when I sat down- but that's what leggings are for. I feel like this is a great style for spring, because you never know what they weather is going to be like. In a dress like this, you have a bit of coverage for your arms in case it's a bit cool out. Pairing the dress with leggings gives you a modest look, and extra warmth, if you need it.
