I grew up watching I Love Lucy. My mom and dad really loved the show, and I gre to love it as well. It was a wholesome show that our whole family could watch together, and it was so much fun to see what sorts of crazy situations Lucy would get herself into, and how Ricky would react! Fred and Ethel were favorite characters of mine, as well. I loved their relationship- and now that I am married, my husband and I can totally relate. Some of my favorite episodes of I Love Lucy took place when Lucy was expecting Little Ricky, and the episodes that followed. I loved seeing Lucy as a mom, and how she handled motherhood and all that comes along with it.

This DVD is such a great gift idea- I don't know many people who aren't in love with the I Love Lucy show. It brings back so many wonderful memories for so many. I love the 50's era, and love watching Ricky and Lucy on screen together. For me, watching this show brings back a lot of happy memories of time spent with my mom and dad. This is a wonderful DVD to add to your home entertainment collection, or to surprise mom with this Mother's Day!
