Comfortable, Easy, Eco-Friendly Fashion for Spring & Summer from #Sassimi + Ibiza Skirt #Giveaway

I couldn't be happier that spring is here, because it means that I can get back to comfortably wearing some pretty skirts, without freezing! We have kissed winter goodbye, and to tell you the truth, I have never been happier to do so. I love spring fashion, and right now, skirts are among my favorite must-have pieces for spring and summer. There is something so effortless about a nice skirt. Skirts can easily be dressed up or down, mixed and matched, and take you from the office or the playground to dinner with the family or a nice evening out. I like wearing skirts this time of year, because they can keep you both warm and cool, and allow you a bit of freedom to move around, as you need to.

When it comes to effortless, comfortable clothing, one of my go-to brands is Sassimi. As a mom, and a busy gal on the go, I am always in search of comfortable clothing that is also stylish and versatile, as well. I was sent the Ibiza Bamboo Skirt with Hi - Low Hem in Marina Blue, and couldn't wait to try it on!

This striking blue skirt is so comfortable and easy to wear.

It's been pretty hot here in NC lately, and I expected that the Ibiza Bamboo Skirt would keep me cool, especially with the hi/low hem. The skirt features a ruched elastic waistband, which is wide. This enables the skirt to be worn where you want it- and if you're not super tall, you might even be able to wear the skirt as a dress or cover-up. I like to wear the skirt right along my hips, because that's where it seems to want to sit, naturally. The marina blue color is so beautiful! I love to wear blue, and I don't have much that is this particular shade of blue, so it was a nice addition to m wardrobe.

I was thrilled that this skirt happened to match a pretty blue necklace that my sister-in-law gave me for Christmas. I've had it for a few months and have hardly worn it, because I just didn't have the right pieces to wear it with. It's a beautiful accessory to wear with the Ibiza Bamboo Skirt from Sassimi! This skirt can easily be worn with just about any style top- a tank, t-shirt, chambray, etc. I went with a neutral colored top, because I really wanted the marina blue to be the star of the ensemble.

The unique hi/low hem on the Ibiza Bamboo Skirt gives it a maxi skirt feel, while making it flirty and fun. I love the way the skirt drapes, and gives a very fun, yet classy look. Bamboo is such a beautiful fabric to wear, and if you don't own any bamboo pieces of clothing, you are truly missing out on the ultimate in comfort. There is no type of fabric on this earth that feels more luxurious or buttery soft than bamboo (sorry satin and silk!). The other great thing about the fabric, is that it is breathable, and fast drying, which means it does an even better job at keeping you cool and comfortable.

Here's a quick look at the back of the skirt, and you can see that it comes almost down to the floor on me. I love the full length in the back.

I added a denim jacket to complete my look with the Ibiza Bamboo Skirt. It kept my arms warm and pulled the look I was going for together. This skirt could also be worn with a cute cardigan or wrap, and is so comfortable that it's the perfect skirt for travel days, as well. I could see myself wearing this to a concert in the park, a picnic with the family, to church, out for a nice evening with my husband, on a plane, or even on a cruise ship. We have some vacations coming up that will be taking us east, north, and then west between May-October, which is the perfect time to enjoy wearing this skirt. We'll be traveling by car on all of our trips, and I plan to wear this skirt on our travel days! This is definitely my new go-to travel skirt!
