Fall and spring are my favorite seasons, and my reasons for loving them so much have a lot to do with beauty, and transition. Right now, everything is springing back to life. The grass is growing back in, there are buds all over the trees and shrubs, and early flower blossoms are beginning to greet us. This is such a beautiful time of year, and I love to bask in the warmth of the sunshine.
Our family is on the go quite a bit this time of year, and often times, I need to be ready to go at a moment's notice, or ready to go in the shortest amount of time possible, to allow for the unexpected (hey, that just how it goes when you're a mom). Chic, effortless style is my go-to for just about any occasion, be it a casual day with my family, or a special night out.
Recently, I connected with Kokoon, Boutique Without Borders, and was offered the opportunity to select a Kokoon style to wear and share about. Kokoon means 'together' in Finnish. I love pieces that can easily transition from day to night. Right now, I have the luxury of working from home, but it hasn't always been that way, and may not be this way forever. I enjoy dressing nicely on Sundays for church, and of course, for special occasions, like a night out with my husband. Time seems to be a luxury, so I tend to go for pieces that are easy to pull on, reflect my personal style, and are comfortable to wear for an extended period of time.
I selected the Hendricks Dress by Kokoon, which is a gorgeous wrap dress with v-neck, 3/4 length sleeves, and modest length.

The Hendricks dress is just stunning, and I love the color combination, along with the pattern and design. Wrap dresses are a wonderful choice for girls who tend to be a little curvy. I definitely have hips! The wraps dress is belted, and ties at the side, which I love, because it actually draws the eye to the waist, and away from the mid-section. Every mom I know has that dreaded 'baby pooch' after having a child, and is constantly looking for flattering style that won't draw attention to the lower abdomen.
Though the design is modern, it also has a bit of a vintage look and feel to it. This is a very classy style, and would be appropriate for the office, a special event, dinner out, etc. I opted not to accessorize this dress a whole lot, because I felt that it was beautiful all on its own, and it didn't need much.

The Hendricks Dress couldn't be easier to wear. It's so comfortable to move in, which is perfect for the gal on the go! I anticipate wearing this dress many times, as it has quickly become a favorite of mine. I think some of my other dresses may be getting a bit jealous. I love that this dress can be paired with a classic pump, could easily be worn with a pair of black boots, or even a cute sandal in the late spring or summer months. I see this dress as one that could easily be worn in any season, and styled appropriately for each one. This has been one of Kokoon's best selling dresses this season, but there are certainly lots of other gorgeous styles available from Kokoon, as well.
