We all know the saying "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is". However, we also know that there are exceptions to everything. Today I'm going to talk about an exception that I find quite exciting: It IS possible for you to make money online! 

Now, I'm not saying that you should quit your job, because you likely won't be able to replace your income using the websites I'll share, but you will find ways to earn a few extra dollars in just a few minutes a day. Last year I managed to earn quite a bit of money (in the form of gift cards) just by participating on websites, like Swagbucks, sporadically during the year. I saved what I earned throughout the year and used it to help with holiday expenses. This year, my goal is to participate more often so that I can earn more and hopefully have a 90% free Christmas. 

You don't have to save your earnings, and you definitely don't have to "settle" for payment in the form of a gift card. In fact, one of my favorite websites, InstaGC, offers payments in the form of check or direct deposit as soon as you have earned a minimum of $5. My personal goal with InstaGC is $1 a day (because it usually takes less than a few minutes to get there) and I often surpass it! 

There are so many of these types of websites, and some will not be the right "fit" for you, but that's okay. I didn't like InstaGC when I first joined, but now it's one of my favorites. I also really like Crowdtap, a site where you can "get rewarded for your opinions and connect with the brands behind the products you use everyday", but my sister does not prefer it and opts to use Influenster instead.  

My advice is to take the time to research what is available and find what works the best for you. I find out about a lot of these opportunities by following the Coupon Clipinista Page on Facebook. The few mentioned in this post are just a small sample of what's out there!
