Crepes All Around - Velata #Review

I'm always looking to expand my cooking horizons because as my husband says I'm good at reheating. I can cook, honestly I can, but after working all day I'm not always into the idea of making an extravagant dinner so frozen pizza, salads, different types of baked chicken (using frozen chicken breasts) are usually my go to. I like simple, I like easy, and I like quick!

Breakfast is a pretty easy dinner to whip up on the nights that I don’t want to cook but I don’t know how to make pancakes or waffles without using frozen products and a toaster. That’s not a bad thing because egos are awesome and delicious but they aren’t homemade. Luckily for me, our lovely spotlight sponsor and independent Velata consultant Kim sent me the new Velata Crepe Maker.

When I was traveling through Europe I had the opportunity to eat legit crepes in France and I knew there was never any way that I would be able to pull off the delicate and time consuming process of making them myself. Crepes and fillings

Josh and I are really trying to watch what we eat so I knew I didn’t want to make our crepes full of calories so I used thawed frozen mixed berries with a little low fat whip cream. SO delicious and not many calories! I served them with a small serving of eggs with dill… very posh for our house!
