Greetings from North Myrtle Beach, SC!

Happy Sunday! We're on a little family vacation, and enjoying the beautiful surrounds here in North Myrtle Beach, SC. I have enjoyed coming to the North Myrtle/Myrtle Beach area since I was just a young girl. Now, I am enjoying our trips to the beach even more, with my hubby and little man. My parents own a time share, so we're able to vacation at Wyndham Resorts all over the world, and this particular Wyndham Resort has private beach cottages. We're in our own little beach house, and loving it!

It's a family tradition for my family to spend a week at the beach after Christmas. Sometimes we go to Oak Island, where very good friends of ours own a home and let us borrow it every now and then. I love Oak Island, NC and South Port, NC- they are beautiful towns with historic southern charm. I also love North Myrtle Beach, SC and Myrtle Beach, SC, because it's a top rated family beach destination in the United States. There are so many things to see and do in this area, including shopping, dining, and a multitude of attractions!

We spotted Batman hanging out at Barefoot Landing!

We've only been here for a couple of days so far, and we have some really fun things lined up for the rest of the week. We can't wait to check out the Alligator Adventure, Ripley's Aquarium, play some Dragon's Lair Fantasy Golf, and ride the Myrtle Beach SkyWheel at the boardwalk!

There's a lot of beautiful wildlife along the NC/SC Coast. B made friends with this cool turtle!

We've already hit a couple of my favorite shopping spots- Tanger Outlets, and Barefoot Landing... plus, we ate lunch at my favorite local joint- Hamburger Joe's. I am still looking forward to having a breakfast omelet at Dino's, here in North Myrtle.

We've been able to cook most of our meals, right here in our beach cottage, which cuts out a lot of the cost of vacation. North Myrtle and Myrtle Beach offers pretty much anything and everything you could ever want to eat- including tons of great places to enjoy fresh seafood (which I don't care for, but my mom loves!). Tonight, we'll be enjoying the indoor pools and lazy river at our resort. It's always nice to stay someplace that has a great rating for families, and offers a lot of amenities that can be enjoyed year round.

At North Myrtle Beach, we've got sunshine on a cloudy day!

We took a stroll out onto the beach today, too, though it was cloudy. It was pretty windy, too but the weather was mild, near 73 degrees, and it's January 4th! We're looking forward to sunshine over the next few days!

Tomorrow morning, I'll be excited to wake up and enjoy a hot cup of coffee out on the deck here at the cottage, and then get ready for a day filled with NMB adventures!

Can't wait to share tomorrow's adventure with you!

Peace, love and sandy feet!

  1. I haven't been to Myrtle Beach in a long time. I'd really like to see it again, & Batman, too, lol.
