Ssh-oes, The Quiet Revolution. #HolidayGiftGuide, #Review, #Giveaway

When I was younger, I never understood why the ladies at Church always tip-toed back to their pews after communion. They looked so silly to me, walking strange until they reached the carpet. I would watch in amusement, trying not to laugh out loud. My Mom tried to explain that they were being quiet and didn't want their shoes to disturb anyone's prayers. Now, fast forward to my teens, and when I began to wear heels. It was a communion Sunday, and as I walked on the wood floor back to my pew, I did not pick up my heels. I clomped all the way to the carpet. My Dad, seated at the organ (he's the music director and organist) shot me the most horrifying look. The whole Church was looking at me, I was mortified. From that moment on, I understood why all the ladies tip-toed back to their pews.

That moment comes to mind whenever I put on a pair of heels. I am always thinking about who might be offended by the noise coming from my feet.  I love how I look in heels, but I honestly can't stand the click-clack on hard surfaces. Heels are meant to be seen, not heard! We've all been there, but what can we do about it, not wear heels? Yeah, right! However, there is one company who set out to change all of that.

Ssh-oes, came up with an idea to help reduce the noise that comes from high heels walking on hard surfaces. Their shoes come with a patent pending, noise reducing heel tip, memory foam padded footbed, non-slip rubber outsole and a flexible leather and lycra lining. All of this combined gives you a comfortable, non-slip, noise reducing shoe. It all seemed too good to be true, I just had to give it a try and Ssh-oes sent me their Sophia in red sz 10 to try and see for myself!

My Sophia Platform Pumps have arrived. I really like the simple black box

When my Sophia platform pumps arrived, I was excited to see that each shoe came individually wrapped in a dust bag. That makes it easy to keep them clean and store them in my closet unharmed! The Sophia shoe is a sexy, shiny red platform pump with a 4.5 inch heel. The shoe is absolutely stunning and makes a statement even in the box! I knew this would be a great addition to my shoe collection and the perfect party shoe! Plus 4.5 inches is the perfect heel height, anything over 4.5 and I feel like Andre the Giant!

My Ssh-oes protected by their duster bag

I've never worn a platform pump before, I've been a little nervous to try them, but this seemed like a great pair to try. I noticed when I picked up the pump how light it is. Most platforms that I've tried on have been heavy, and that has been a huge turnoff, but these are so light I knew my ankles wouldn't be throbbing at the end of the night.

Look at those sexy heels.

Noise reducing heel tips, I really like these

Once I slipped on my Sophia pumps, I couldn't believe how comfortable they are. The padded, memory foam footbed and leather /lycra insole  really make a difference. I started to walk around the house on my tile floor and it was quiet, not a peep or skidding sound. For as much walking as I did in the house, I knew the true test would be spending a whole day in them. Would my feet be sore? Would they make noise elsewhere?

Roomy rounded toe, Sophia Platform Pumps

Cory and I were headed out to a Christmas party, and I decided that my Sho-oes were the perfect edition to my holiday attire. While at the party, I kept thinking if I could hear my shoe clanking on the hardwood floor, but I couldn't hear a thing. Even when the music had stopped, the noise reducing heel tips proved that they work. After several hours of dancing and climbing stairs, I was exhausted, but my feet felt great. The platform actually helped balance my weight and kept my feet feeling good all night long!

Around the world!

I will say that the shoe runs a bit small, and Ssh-oes suggests you order a size up. With that being said, my shoes are a bit snug, but not enough that it ever bothered my feet. I tend to buy a half size smaller in my pumps, so I know that once they stretch out, they will fit perfectly. If the tips on the heels ever wear out, I don't have to worry because they came with a second pair that I can easily change out when needed. I even though to see if I could add them to a different pair of heels to make them less noisy.

Extra Noise Reducing Heel Tips

I can honestly say that when I walk in my Sophia pumps from Ssh-oes, that I don't have to worry about noise coming from my feet. I'm confident and fully aware that I can walk where I need to and not disturb anyone. These shoes are great and have exceeded my expectations and for $79.00 plus free shipping, you are getting a fantastic deal. I would pay double for these shoes!
