When I think about some of the things that I love most about the fall season, comfort comes to mind. I recall memories around comfort food, certain scents, cozy blankets and being snuggled up with my family on a chilly fall evening, and I think of comfy clothing. I spent many years wearing clothing that was fashionable, yet uncomfortable, and as a mom who is constantly on the move, I look back and can't believe that I didn't dress comfortably earlier on in life!

Dressing comfortably is all about what makes you feel comfortable... is it something you can move around in? Does the fabric feel soft? Do you have the room you need, while the clothing is still fitted in a way that flatters? I was very happy to find and connect with Sassimi, an eco-friendly clothing company, offering various styles of go-to apparel, which is super soft and comfortable. Sassimi was founded in 2006, and has a sort of casual elegance about them, featuring casual spa-like styles that are loved by so many.

I was thrilled for the opportunity to try out a piece of gorgeous clothing from Sassimi for myself, and had a hard time making a selection from their online store, because I could see myself wearing pretty much everything they carry. Everything I saw looked luxuriously soft and cozy! I did finally make my choice, however- the beautiful Ibiza Bamboo Dress.

It's still very warm in many parts of the country this time of year. In fact, September is often the hottest month of the year here in North Carolina. While I'm looking to fall with visions of acorns and pumpkins, scarves and boots, I have to be realistic, as it just isn't chunky sweater weather yet. I am still in need of lightweight styles that are breathable, and comfortable, above all else. The Ibiza Bamboo Dress seemed like a fantastic choice for late summer, into early fall.

I felt so chic and polished in my Sassimi Ibiza Bamboo Dress, and couldn't wait to show it off!

I knew that the Ibiza Bamboo Dress would look great styled different ways. The color block style makes this dress even more versatile and fun! I love the white across the top, and wore white sandals (Aerosoles) with the dress when I wore it for the first time. I knew that adding complementary accessories to my ensemble would really dress up my look. I added a bronze and sea green long necklace (JewelMint), and a beautiful wrap bracelet (Chloe + Isabel), and topped it off with my favorite pair of sunglasses (Oscar de la Renta) for a fun, dressed up late summer look. Even my nail polish, which is a deep plum, coordinates and pops against the beautiful clover color in the dress (polish- ELF Cosmetics).

I felt really beautiful in this dress, and what was even more important, was that I felt extremely comfortable in it, as well. The top was fitted, but not too tight in any area. I appreciated that I had coverage up top, and that this size small (4/6) wasn't gaping across the chest or the arm holes. The skirt of this dress is a bit roomy- in the way you want the bottom portion of your dress to be roomy. There was no bunching, and there was not feeling of being constricted by the dress- I felt like I was able to move, to bend down, etc., without having to worry too much about who could see what! For many of us (especially moms), this is a huge bonus!

Being able to be comfortable in a dress and still do my most important job (being mommy) is a top priority!

The Ibiza Bamboo Dress by Sassimi is so incredibly soft and comfortable. I almost felt like I was wearing silk or satin all day... that's right- all day! The dress was so comfortable that I wore it all day long. I received many, many compliments on this dress, and I really can't wait to wear it again, styling it up for fall. I think this dress would look majorly cute with a pair of boots, a denim jacket, perhaps a cute scarf and a tan or brown handbag. To create a different look, throw on a cardigan and a pair of flats!

Caring for the dress is simple- it can be machine washed, and hung up to dry. I did use a very low heat on my iron to smooth out a few wrinkles before I wore this dress. Bamboo fabric wrinkles easily, so just keep that in mind and be sure to check that before you put it on. It took less than two minutes for me to press the dress and put it on.

The Ibiza Bamboo Dress is simply beautiful, and is perfect for every gal out there who loves to be comfortable and look effortlessly chic! Wear it at home, on Sundays (to church, to brunch), for a special occasion, to the office, throw it on after yoga or pilates, and go! Everyone will want to know where you got such a pretty, comfy looking dress.
