Little did I know, that I would reconnect with a former classmate, who is now a fabulous wife and mom, and knows a thing or two about no-fuss fashion.

About Erin (Chloe + Isabel Merchandiser)
Erin finished 10 years as a teacher in June. The hustle and bustle of life, her husband changing jobs, and keeping up with three kids (6, 5, and 20 months) left her looking for something to do that made her happy and allowed flexibility...and so her career with Chloe+Isabel started.
Erin and I were actually classmates in high school, and I remember Erin being very bubbly and bright, smart and stylish. I was thrilled when Erin approached me about learning more about Chloe + Isabel, and offered me a beautiful piece of Chloe + Isabel Jewelry to review. Erin kindly gave me some different jewelry options, and together, we decided on a piece of jewelry we expected would be well received by the MBP community.
Erin wanted me to have the whole Chloe + Isabel experience, so she ordered and shipped a piece of jewelry just for me, directly from Chloe + Isabel, rather than sending me something she'd already purchased.
My Chloe + Isabel jewelry arrived in 4-5 days from the date Erin placed the order for me.
My Chloe + Isabel surprise arrived nicely packaged in a small box (which I was glad to see, because I dislike when companies use larger than life boxes to ship small items). Behind the packing material, I saw a bit of beautiful blue tissue paper poking out, and I quickly grabbed that up, ready to open it and see what awaited me.

The packing slip clearly laid out the contents of the order, and gave instructions for returns, if necessary. It also gave the information on how to reach customer care, although if I had encountered a problem, or found myself with a question, I would have asked Erin, first. She's always standing by to answer questions, demo how to wear the jewelry, give styling tips, or to help her friends and customers place their orders.

My jewelry was packaged inside of this adorably little cloth drawstring bag, bearing the Chloe + Isabel logo, with a felt tag.
I loved the way the jewelry was packaged and presented. I have purchased and have been sent a lot of jewelry from direct sales companies in the past, and everything I have received (with the exception of one other company), has been packaged the same old boring way- in a box. The packaging of Chloe + Isabel jewelry is the first clue that this is a company that is proud of what they make and sell, and they love to let their own creativity shine through everything they do- including sending out their jewelry to customers.

I knew that Erin was going to send me a wrap bracelet, and I'll go more into why this piece was chosen in a minute, but I didn't know which wrap bracelet Erin would send to me. I had already looked over the wrap bracelets by visiting Erin's Chloe + Isabel Boutique online, and I immediately fell in love with all of the beautiful styles of the wrap bracelets, and the promise of their versatility. Truthfully, I would have loved any of them, but the Bead + Chain Multi-Wrap Bracelet that Erin chose for me, could not have been more perfect!

Erin wouldn't have known that green just happens to be my favorite color. I have green eyes, and love to wear colors that compliment my eye color, including hues of green and purple. I have gone through most of my life not wearing gold. I decided in my mind (a long, long time ago) that I just didn't care for gold, and would never ever wear it. Then, a few years ago, muted gold and bronze colors really started to explode onto the jewelry scene, and I thought I'd better get with the program, so I began collecting and wearing a few select pieces.

As you could imagine, I couldn't wait to wear the multi-wrap bracelet, and when Erin told me that I can wear this bracelet multiple ways, I just about leapt for joy. Nothing is better than a versatile piece of jewelry! Firstly, you can wear this piece as a bracelet, hence the wrap bracelet name. I simply wrapped the strand around my wrist three times, and looped it to close it. In an instant, I had beautiful a beautiful, funky, vintage looking bracelet adorning my wrist.

Now, I know this may sound silly, but on Sunday mornings, I lead worship music and use a handheld cordless mic. My arm/wrist is constantly in the air, and I have really started to enjoy wearing bracelets on my right wrist, because I know it's visible. My goal isn't to draw attention to myself, as the focus is on God, but I know that others who are in my line of vision are going to glance at me from time to time, and I feel a bit more confident when my wrist isn't naked!
I did wear the multi-wrap bracelet to church, and wore it as I lead worship, and Idid receive numerous compliments on it. There are a few ladies who pay attention to what I wear, and they love to see me in new jewelry. I was so excited to share with them that the bracelet was so versatile.

Since the multi-wrap bracelets can also be worn as a necklace, I planned to take full advantage of that, as well. It can be worn alone, and the length can be adjusted to your preference. I chose the keep the length long, and to pair it with my JM necklace, because of their similar colors. When I layered the two necklaces together, I honestly thought they looked like they belonged together- like they were working to create one long multi layered necklace!

Perhaps the coolest thing that you can do with the Chole + Isabel wrap bracelet, is to wear it in your hair! Yes, you read that correctly! I was definitley intrigued by this concept, but knew that I would need a little tutorial on how to make it work. Lucky for me, Erin had already taken the time to create a 'how to' video for her customers and friends.

Pretty cool, right? I had to watch the video a couple of times to make sure I was correctly following Erin's instructions for turning the bracelet into beautiful hair bling. Once I got that down, I slid the bracelet turned headband onto my head. I immediately noticed that it was too loose, and was absolutely not going to stay put, so I found some smaller hair bows, and swapped them out, repeating the steps to make the headband. Once I adjusted the hair bows and got the headband on, I discovered that the fit was much better. It was still a little loose, but this will be the case no matter what I do, because my hair is super thin, and fine, and I have never really been able to wear headbands without them slipping right off. I found that it helped that my hair was curly the day I did this. If I had straightened it, it would have been too slick, and this wouldn't have worked as well. I also found that using a couple of mini bobby pins at the sides helped this stay in place for several hours.

As a mom, I am no stranger to my hair winding up on top of my head at some point during the day. I like having long hair, but it just gets in the way sometimes, and up is the way to go. By wearing the wrap bracelet as a headband, it helps keep my hair out of my face, and really dresses up an otherwise dull and boring look. Adding this piece can quickly and easily take your casual look from drab to fab. Obviously, it dressed up my plain old boring t-shirt, and made me feel cute and fun, while keeping my hair out of the way for a day of play with my favorite little guy!
