#VeggieTales Celery Night Fever DVD #Review + #Giveaway

I don't know how your kids feel about hilarious, loving, singing, forgiving, animated talking veggies, but in our house, we're huge VeggieTales fans! We always look forward to the release of a new VeggieTales movie, and our favorite friends- Bob and Larry are back, with a brand new story to share- a lesson in forgiveness, along with some pretty rockin' new songs!

As the summer comes to a close and school begins to start up, there is no better time than now to remind your kids about the importance of friendship and forgiveness. While your little ones get ready to interact with new classmates VeggieTales can help you instill values in them that will last through all stages of their life. Our newest show, Celery Night Fever, will make your child laugh, dance and learn the importance of making friendships work by forgiving others just as God forgave us.

B was so excited to find that Celery Night Fever had arrived in the mail!

In Celery Night Fever, Laura Carrot and Junior Asparagus help the once popular Groovy Brothers band members learn how to work out their past differences in order to reunite and put on a concert in efforts to save Celery Park. Enjoy silly songs and old familiar characters as well as our newest character “Bruce Onion” featuring Terry Crews. This up beat and wholesome movie will teach an important lesson that can be carried out throughout your kid’s lifetime.

Ages 3-4 can be pretty tough for kids and parents- it's an age where young ones are figuring out all sorts of stuff about how life works, and about themselves, as well. My husband and I are constantly realizing that our son picks up on more than we think he does, including our tone, and our actions. We're preparing to send B off to preschool for the first time, and before he does, we've been doing our best to work with him on sharing, kindness, and forgiveness. VeggieTales: Celery Night Fever is a wonderful tale of forgiveness and friendship. We love that VeggieTales continues to bring wonderful animated stories to life for our son, as he learns about grace, forgiveness, and of course- God's amazing love for us all.

B's Thoughts on the movie...

B absolutely loved seeing his pals Bon and Larry on our big screen at home. He loved they way they were dressed, and we had a lot of silly and fun conversation about the Disco days (which was before my time!). The story and the characters were a little out of B's grasp, and he lost interest off and on, but then again, he's three, and there are very few features he will sit and watch all the way through. That said, he loved the music, the dancing, and and we were able to really sit and talk about what it means to forgive someone. We even practiced apologizing to one another, and forgiving one another.

I think that kids and parents alike, will really love this story! I really enjoyed Terry Crews and Kelli Pickler lending their voices to this story- it's so refreshing to know that these popular, and even celebrity performers put God first in their lives. This new VT movie is going to be a lot of fun for B to watch again and again this year, and I can't wait to lend it to our Weekday Church School program, for the elementary school age bunch to watch and enjoy!
