Back Into Dance with Lexi Luu {Review and Giveaway}

Summer break is over for us, that means back to school and back to our hectic routines. S is back in gymnastics and dance again, which makes her one happy little girl. I have seen other girls in her classes that have really adorable outfits and wondered where you could find them. Guess what, for her birthday she got a few new gym leos and has been rocking them, they are all unique and just what she was hoping for. She also was lucky enough to get a new dance set too, we just love having MBP to help us find great companies!

Grandmother to Lexi and Liberty, Shey has been inspired to create amazing pieces of dancewear since the eighties. She continues to flourish in her designs, making them sparkle and shine for both gymnastics and dancers alike. Lexi Luu offers bright colors, fun patterns, bows, and even frilly lace in a variety of styles and sizes.

We were contacted to possibly partner with Lexi Luu and I said, YES PLEASE! I knew S would love to browse through such funky, girly things and pick something just for herself to show off in her gym and dance studio. After we browsed the site, we settled on our top choices and sent them off to Danielle. There were tons of options for all different styles, we loved how fancy yet comfortable they looked. Danielle quickly responded and told me what she would be sending, I didn't tell S so that she would be surprised when it came. "It is soooooo pretty, can I put it on?"

Lexi Luu sent us the Flowers and Bows set, which we just loved.

The Flowers and Bows set retails for $41.95 and currently is available in size L only. Lexi Luu does offer sizes XS-XXL in many other styles and also price ranges.

This set is 2 pieces, with black ruffle shorts and a long top with a floral polka dot print and white polka dot bow design. It is made of high quality nylon spandex that offers lots of stretch.

There are many things I, as the mom, love about this outfit. I love the coverage it offers, it has a long crop top that fully covers all belly and the shorts are long enough to cover all of her booty too, very age appropriate. I love the design, it is fun, colorful, and full of personality, just like S. It is also really girly with its flowers, bows, and lace. It has a nice fit, not baggy but not tight either, just fits her exactly right but still gives her some growing room. It is also soft, I was afraid the lace may be itchy, but it isn't. I will for sure be visiting Lexi Luu in the future.

S also loves her Lexi Luu set. She is a huge fan of the design, her favorite part being all the bows on her top and the ruffles on her shorts. She also loves that no one else in class has this outfit and everyone loves her outfit. She totally stands out and has her own personality shining through. She also likes that it is a 2 piece set, she can easily get it on and off by herself and use the bathroom on her own while wearing it, instead of me having to help her wiggle out of a one piece outfit. It also doesn't ride up or move, especially important with the top, it really does stay in place. She has worn it to both dance and gymnastics and has been comfortable in it the whole time.
