What could be more girly and cute than a baby in a tutu? Pretty much nothing in my opinion. I knew right away that I wanted to find Baby C a special tutu that would be perfect for her Rainbow themed first birthday party. I knew that making my own was out of the question, both time and know how were not in my favor, so I headed to visit one of my favorite online shopping places--ETSY!

 

Etsy can be overwhelming for those who have never used it before, or even for regular customers like myself. I always recommend you begin by searching for what you are looking for in the general search engine, I used "rainbow tutu" for this search. With over 3,000 items that matched my general search, I then add in "children" as one of my filters and this brought my search closer to 2,000. From there I usually play around with relevancy, price, and time frame, and begin to search. After you find some that catch your eye, make sure to read all the shops rules and feedback to find your perfect match, I found mine with Lucky Clover Boutique!

 The Lucky Clover Boutique is an Etsy shop that opened in early 2011. Shop owner and mom, Erin, started her shop to "scratch her creative itch", beginning with jewelry and moving on to tutus and bows. Erin, as a mom to a son, but without a girl of her own, was living through her customers, and finally welcomed her own princess in late 2013. We congratulate her on being a mom to a little girl, they are so much fun to dress up! While The Lucky Clover Boutique has many items stocked, Erin also loves making custom orders, so don't be afraid to ask.

 

 I originally contacted The Lucky Clover Boutique to inquire about an item for Baby C's birthday. In my email, I included our MBP information and Erin quickly responded that she was interested in partnering with us, I was thrilled to find her! Erin and I communicated back and forth, her response time is insanely quick and she is always incredibly friendly. She knows her products and what to recommend. After browsing over her shop info, you can find that she has had over 1,000 sales and can brag that she has a 5 star rating as well, with over 275 reviews. Erin quickly moved forward and within 2 weeks, I had tracking information and a package in my mailbox.

This tutu is available in newborn to size 6 for $6, you heard me right, $6. This is such a steal, if you have searched through Etsy, you know that these type of tutus can go for huge amounts of money. Erin is offering hers for such an amazing price, you can't miss out on her shop. Erin will also make larger sizes for a different price, just ask her.

 

The Rainbow Tutu is handmade by Erin using tulle in rainbow colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet), thread, and elastic. The colors are so vibrant, perfect for our Rainbow party. The fluffy fabric, being tulle can be a bit itchy sometimes, but I didn't find this tulle to be that way at all. It is also extremely well made, Erin did not skimp on quality whatsoever, again why this tutu is such a steal.

 

Erin also included the Bright Rainbow Tulle Pom Pom Bow for Baby C.

 The bow is one size fits most and is $3. Again, an amazing deal from Lucky Clover Boutique. Erin creates this hair bow on an alligator clip or French barrette, please just verify when you order. This bow matches the tutu to a T, what a perfect combination! It has all the same colors of the rainbow and made of the same tulle, along with metal, glue, and string to complete it. Erin will make this bow to match any tutu of your choosing, just ask. Again this bow is fluffy and comfortable for C to wear.

Everyone loved her outfit, I just paired a plain white tank with our Rainbow Tutu. It was simple and bright to show off our big girl on her special day.

 

I also used our Lucky Clover Boutique tutu and hair bow for her one year pictures. I don't have a copy of them yet, but our photographer loved her outfit and had a blast taking pictures of her.
