My thoughts...

I was so excited to receive the opportunity to preview this special remastered Season One set of Little House on the Prarie. My mom really loves this show. She grew up a farmer's daughter, farming and playing on 100 acres of my grandparent's land in Missouri, so the Little House stories have always been close to her heart. I actually grew up watching the Ingalls on the screen, since my mom loved the characters so dearly, and also took an interest in the Little House books (I have the whole series in hardcover!).

As I began to watch some of the very first episodes, I was truly impressed by the remastering. The picture and sound quality of this set is absolutely amazing! Little House fans will be so excited to see their favorite characters on screen once more, like never before, as favorite stories are replayed in front of their very eyes.

The screen tests for Michal Landon and Melissa Gilbert are quite a treat, and a very special feature for fans of this series, and of these incredible actors. I actually can't wait to present this series as a gift to my mom. She's going to love it, and will be so surprised! If you're a fan of Michael Landon, or of the Little House series, this is definitely a must-have for your home entertainment collection! I am so excited to have it as part of my own collection.

This set would make an incredible gift for Mother's Day- so be thinking about that!

  6. Laura was always my favorite. I identified with her as a child because she was always getting into mischief without meaning to!

  7. My fave character is Laura Ingles

  8. Laura. She is really the focal point of the show and is sympathetic no matter what.
