365 Acts of Kindness: Week 32

Happy Monday! Today, we're bringing back our 365 Acts of Kindness today, encouraging everyone to do one nice thing for someone else every day, for the next year. It doesn't have to be random- you can certainly be kind to someone you know, or a complete stranger. The idea is to pass love around- help someone else out, and inspire them to do the same. Sometimes, we have to change to be the change we want to see in this world.

Every Monday, we're posting a weekly roundup of Acts of Kindness, where you can share how you've helped others, or how others have blessed you by their acts.

Our Acts of Kindness from Last Week...

My mom and I went to the Southern Christmas Show in Charlotte, NC for the first time last Saturday. As we were walking up to the expo center, where we needed to purchase our tickets for admission to the show, my mom said something like, 'Gosh- there are so many people here. I hope the show isn't sold out.' A lady walking in front of us turned to me and said, 'Today is your lucky day. God bless you.' She handed me a ticket for free admission to the show. I was so surprised, as I am not usually on the receiving end of these random acts. I thanked her, and then handed the ticket to my mom, since she drove us to Charlotte and paid for the parking. -Ondria

On Sunday, we were at our local Aldi's, picking up some groceries. I was returning my cart, to get my quarter back, and the gal behind me asked if I had change for a dollar, because she didn't have any quarters and really needed a grocery cart. I didn't have change, so I told her to just take my cart and keep the quarter. Not a huge act of kindness, or really random, but it was a kind act, all the same. -Ondria

This is Week 32 of this special Bloggers & Readers Challenge, and I am so eager to read everyone's comments on how they were able to offer kindness, or how they received kindness from someone else last week.

Be sure to leave us your comment, and keep spreading the love around! You never know- your comment might be featured in next week's post, or we might randomly show kindness to one our our readers!!

  2. I am always kind to others. One act of kindness can really turn the day around for another person. You don't know what a person is feeling or has gone through.

  3. I'm so glad to have found this series! It's easy to overlook the small acts of kindness - holding a door open, giving a seat to a stranger on a bus - but I make a point of recognizing them to my preschooler. I look forward to reading more! :)
