Who wants to go out and shop in a store with a newborn and baby chub everywhere, not me! Especially when it is for post pregnancy intimates--eek! I was a bit bigger than what I had prepared for once my milk came in and had nothing that would fit, a quick trip back to the hospital nursing store got me a few comfortable but very expensive bras, but I was in need of a few more. I have a love hate relationship with nursing bras, but they are a necessity.

Ondria contacted me about working with Lamaze Intimates, and I jumped at the chance. It was perfect timing because I was in the need and getting to shop online for them would be so much more comfortable and easy for me.

Lamaze Intimates is a company offering intimate clothing for a very specific time in life. They create maternity items that are fashionable, functional, and affordable. They offer nursing bras, sleepwear, camisoles, and panties all directed for pregnancy and post pregnancy needs.

I worked with Christina, who offered me a gift code (the lucky winner of the giveaway will get one too) to order from the website. I loved the ease of the website and quickly found a variety of things I could use. I narrowed it down to what I thought would be best for what I needed and placed my order. It was a very simple process although I did have one issue during ordering, which a quick email corrected almost immediately, but other than that a wonderful ordering experience.

With my gift code I was able to order two different items to review. They both came packaged in well labeled and sealed plastic. I was immediately drawn to the colors in my first product and couldn't wait to get them open.

My first item was a 3 count of cotton/spandex briefs.

First, I love the colors. The purple pair is bright and the black edging just pops. The pink pair is my favorite because I love polka dots. The third pair is also very cute, filled with pregnancy and baby related words and pictures-very new mom friendly. They each have a coordinating bow at the top waistline. Second, they are very true to size, I ordered a Large and they are perfect for the extra baby weight I am currently sporting. They are also very comfortable, made of a cotton/spandex (92/8) blend, they have the right amount of give and softness. My only complaint is that they are hand wash only, but I will admit a pair accidentally made it into the washing machine and dryer without me realizing it and they came out okay (I wouldn't recommend that to maintain them though).

Lamaze Intimates offers about 10-15 different pantie options on their website ranging in the $6-$10 price range making them very affordable too.

My second item was a Microfiber Lace Nursing Bra.

I was very excited about the bra because I desperately needed another one. When ordering, I had trouble finding one that was in my current size so I had to order a bit bigger. I was nervous that it wouldn't work. When it arrived, I washed it per instructions (hand wash/line dry) and when it was dry I tried it on. Since I was still in my early days of nursing at that point it was an okay fit. The cup size was great but the chest size was big, it was easily solved with a safety pin clip to make it tighter for me.

I chose the nude color because I hate how dirty white always seems to look after wearing and washing. It is a very pretty peachy nude with lace design made with a poly blend. It is soft and feels good against the skin. It has light padding which is perfect, doesn't add any extra bulk but gives a bit more coverage and shaping. It also has an underwire, which I prefer. It doesn't seem to cut in to the body like some underwires seem to do. The bra also has easy to access clips for nursing which stay in place and adjustable wide cushioned straps for extra comfort. My only complaint is that it is a bit too big and won't fit me through the length of my nursing baby C. I have lost almost all the baby weight and pinning it back will only be able to last so long. Overall it is a good nursing bra for me to this point.
