    1. It was so good! I can't remember the last time I had sauce from a jar. I love making it... and everyone loves pasta night at our house! I can't wait for homemade penne pasta alfredo with peas. Mmm! Hope you had good eats this week!

    1. Oh and what is your recipe for homemade sauce for pasta?

    2. I make my sauce with tomato paste- 1 can of water added, per tomato paste can. I add in fresh tomatoes, chopped onion, fresh basil, oregano, pinch of black pepper, salt, minced garlic, a pinch of cinnamon, and let it simmer on the stove for close to 1 hour. Everything is to taste. I someties add a tbsp of sugar, because my hubby likes a sweeter sauce. You can add a carrot to the sauce pan, and remove it later- it takes the acidity out of the sauce for anyone who has sensitivity to that sort of thing. :)

    3. Leslie, I just use a store bought Terriyaki sauce and marinate chunked chicken breast in the fridge for 1-2 hours. Then, I cook it in a pan til it's cooked through.
