Build-A-Bear Workshop's Smurfs 2 Collection #Review & #Giveaway

We're breezing right along through summer, but have been very excited to have a few special surprises along the way! Perhaps you've been seeing a lot of little blue friends popping up here and there? Well, that's because the Smurfs are back and better than ever, and once again hitting the big screen for their new movie The Smurfs 2! We're pleased to announce that your favorite Smurfs 2 characters are available to have to and to hold... seriously!

Build-A-Bear Workshop and the Smurfs have teamed up to bring your favorite blue friends to life! Right now, your little ones can head to a local Build-A-Bear Workshop to choose a lovable Smurf character to stuff with love and fluff, and dress up, too!

We were lucky enough to be able to team up with Build-A-Bear Workshop to review a couple of these new friends!

Each of our new Smurf friends arrived in their own little houses, with their underclothes on. Each plush pal came with a complete outfit, official birth certificate, and Paw Pass tag. Balian has a couple of Build-A-Bear friends (a pig and a snowman), and he couldn't wait to introduce them to these new Smurf gals!

Vexy

First, we met Vexy, from Build-A-Bear Workshop's Smurfs 2 Collection. Vexy is said to be very smart and a bit mischiveous, as well! Vexy is very pretty, with dark hair and a blue feather in her cap. Her hair can be brushed down and made very to look very nice. I could tell that she was looking around to see what sorts of things she could get into at our house!

Vexy came with a two-piece outfit, a tank top with an almost tutu like skirt, embellished with blue gems! It was a lot of fun getting her dressed up. Vexy also came with a pair of black combat boots! I guess she wants to let people know that they shouldn't mess with her!

Balian had great fun, helping me to dress the Smurf dolls from Build-A-Bear Workshop. For me, it felt like I was a little girl, dressing my own dolls, all over again. Do girls every really grow out of loving to do that? Vexy looked fabulous in her outfit, and we couldn't wait to show her off to daddy after work!

Sweet Smurfette

We also received Sweet Smurfette, who is just as lovely as can be! She almost looks like sunshine with her bright yellow hair, and happy blue body. Sweet Smurfette is very friendly, and super cuddly! We couldn't wait to get her dressed, so she and Vexy could explore our house together!

Sweet Smurfette came with a beautiful white dress, which was very silky, and embellished with silver touches! She also came with white dress shoes, which were a perfect match to her pretty dress. Her clothes were very easy to slip right on, and Velcro closed in the back (as were Vexy's). It's wonderful that the clothing is easy for little hands to put on and take off.

Sweet Smurfette looked smashing in her lovely white dress! I wish that we had a fancy party we could take her to... she'd be the star of the show! All of the clothing available from Buil-A-Bear Workshop is mix and match for their fluffy friends, so the outfit combinations are endless!

Lifetime Paw Pass

Each Build-A-Bear Workshop Smurf came with a Lifetime Paw Pass tag, slipped around their arm. These have a space for the new friend's name, and it entitles them to access in the Build-A-Bear Workshop stores for special events, as long as they are accompanied by their owner.

Each Smurf also came with their own Birth Certificate, which is to be filled out by the owner (or their parent)! We've left ours blank, because we are going to be sharing these adorable Smurfs with our local Children's Home, and want their new owners to be able to name them, and have a special first day together!

We can't wait for our next visit to the Build-A-Bear Workshop, so we can shop for fun new outfits for our friends!
