Like most women I know, I carry a little extra in places I don't want it. I don't really mean weight or fat. In my case, it's loose skin and a few pesky stretch marks, from being pregnant a few years ago. I was amazed at how quickly I started losing weight while I nursed my son- it just seemed to melt away. I fugred that I would look like my normal self in no time. Almost three years later, I am still haunted by my saggy skin around my mid-section, and sometimes- cellulite that shows up at the most inopportune times! With a beach trip just around the corner, and me determined to wear a bikini again, I knew I had to do something.
I got turned on to a company called It Works a couple of years ago. You've probably heard of them and their 'crazy wrap thing.' Their Ultimate Body Applicator is easy to use by wrapping it around your problem areas, leaving it in place for 45 minutes, and then continuing to work for up to 72 hours later. It Works came about in 1995, when former high school teacher Mark Pentecost and his wife Cindy took their passion for helping people to a whole new level. With a wonderful team to help them, they were able to create an all natural product that would tighten, tone and firm the skin- and forever change the lives of those who used their product. There was no other product like the Ultimate Body Applicator on the market, so there was no competition for their business. Ten years later, It Works is a direct sales company, offering its products through home parties, independent distributors and online sales.
MBP is proud to work exclusively with Annmarie Miller, an Independent Distributor with It Works. Annmarie was kind enough to send me an Ultimate Body Applicator so I could wrap right before my beach trip. Along with my wrap, Annmarie sent me some helpful tips and information, and a video on how to wrap.
Here's what I got from Annmarie...

In my package from Annmarie, I found the Ultimate Body Applicator (a single use pack), a measuring card, and instructions. I had already wrapped once before, so I was pretty sure that I remembered what I needed to do.
The first step, was to make sure the skin over the area where I wanted to wrap, was clean and dry. Next, I took my measurements.
My measurements before the wrap were:
Waist: 27"
Tummy (Measured around the belly button): 32"
Lower Abs: 33 1/2"

Next, I removed the applicator from its packaging, and placed the lotion side down on my skin, around my mid-section. I made sure to smooth the applicator out as best as I could, and then (as advised), I had my husband help wrap a bit of plastic wrap around my tummy, to help hold the wrap in place. I didn't wrap the plastic wrap too tightly, but tightly enough to hold the applicator in place while I did other things around the house for the next 45 minutes.

The Ultimate Body Applicator covered my entire tummy, mid-section, and sides. This will be different for everyone, depending on your personal size. The wrap can be used on different areas on the body- including arms, thighs, etc. A single wrap can be cut in half for use on arms and legs.
Annmarie told me that I would see the best results if I drank a lot of water while I wrapped, and afterward. So, I drank two large glasses of water while I wore my wrap. I was able to go about my business in the house, finishing up packing for our beach trip, while I wore the wrap.
After 45 minutes were up, I was ready to take the wrap off and check out my results!

What an incredible difference in the toning and definition of my mid-section! I know that a bunch of you are reading this, thinking that I'm crazy for thinking that I needed to wrap because I'm thin to begin with. Like I said, this wasn't about weightloss for me. I really wanted to tone up my abdomen so I could feel confident wearing a bikini out on the beach this summer, which is something that I've been very self-conscious about since the birth of my son.
I was very pleased with my immediate results, and knew that I would continue to see results over the next 72 hours. The special lotion on the Ultimate Body Applicator gets absorbed by your skin when you wrap, so it continues to detoxify, even after you've removed the wrap. What I like to do after removing the applicator, is to wipe off the excess lotion, and then massage it into other areas. This time, I used it on the backs of my thighs! I drank lots of water over the next few days, and as you can see from my measurements above, I did continue to see results. Did I make it into my bikini at the beach? You bet!

I know that I'm not the only person who has fallen in love with It Works, because their products really do work. I'm not into dietary or weightloss supplemements, crazy diets or doing anything drastic to lose weight or inches. The Ultimate Body Applicator by It Works is like a magic wrap. All you have to do is put it on, drink some water, use a measuring tape, and take some photos so you'll be able to see your physical transformation. You can wrap every 72 hours, if you want to, or be like me, and be an occasional wrapper. I like to wrap before vacations and big events. My 75 year-old-grandmother has been so impressed by my love for It Works, that she's decided to try a wrap, herself! I can't wait to help her with it!
