One of the things that moms wish they had more than all of the jewelry, flowers and chocolate candies in the world, is probably a little time to de-stress and unwind. I am a work at home mom, and have a two-year-old, who is home with me every hour of the day. Needless to say, sticking to 'work time' while balancing the household duties and being mommy can be challenging. I don't get 'mommy breaks.' Nope- not even little ones, unless I have to head to an evening meeting, which doesn't really count as 'me time.'

This time around, Carrie offered to send me the Aromatini Travel Set. This four piece set comes in a Lavender Sweet Orange scent, which is meant to soothe and calm the senses with the aromatic lavender and citrus fruit extract blend. The Aromatini Travel Set comes (just as the other Pinktini Travel Sets do) packaged in a clear plastic pouch, which has a zip closure, and is reusable. This makes it perfect for tossing right into an overnight bag, your purse, suitcase, etc.

The Aromatini Travel Set from Pink Papaya includes for amazing spa products: Body Wash, Body Mist, Body Lotion and Massage Candle. Upon opening the pouch to become familiar with the products, I immediately fell in love with the lavender sweet orange scent. Lavender alone is so soothing. I keep lavender in sachets in my dresser drawers to keep my clothes smelling nice. The blend with the sweet citrus scents is intoxicating!

Naturally, I tried the Body Wash and the Body Mist first. The body wash unleashes its invigorating scent as soon as you open the 2 oz bottle. It's a beautiful scent to wake up to, as you have a morning shower, or a great way to be lifted in the afternoon. It's also a relaxing way to get clean and unwind at the end of a long day. I enjoyed using this during a recent bubble bath. The body wash formula not only gently cleanses the skin, it also moisturizes with its essential oils. This has quickly become one of my favorite body washes!
The body mist is beautiful. It's a very light mist, which sprays evenly, without dripping. This sweet scented mist has a hint of apple extract and papaya fruit extract in it. These two extracts combined really smell delicious. It's a light, non-perfume like scent which is perfect to be worn during the hot and sticky spring and summer months. A little spritz will help wake you up, and make you feel relaxed at the same time. I've been spraying one little pump of this into the air and walking into it (eyes closed) for an over all coverage each morning since I received it. My husband loves the way it smells, too!
Lavender Sweet Orange Body Lotion
Since receiving the Aromatini Travel Set, I have been applying a thin layer of the lavender sweet orange body lotion to my skin each evening, before bed. I like to moisturize my skin before bed, so it has a chance to really soak in while I am resting. This is a very light lotion. It's water based, so it's not at all heavy or greasy. It absorbs right into the skin, with its nourishing extracts and oils. The lavender scent is so soothing at bedtime. I usually cuddle with my son and read him a story or two in bed, and I think the scent of this lotion has even been helping to calm him down before he falls asleep! It's definitely helping me to relax, as well. I have been falling asleep faster and staying asleep for longer periods of time, just since starting the routine of applying this lotion before bed.
Massage Candle...
The massage candle is twice as nice as the the other products included in this set. I have very few candles in the house anymore, because I have a little toddler running around. So, this candle was a special treat for me. I was happy to light in in our bedroom the last time my hubby and I had a date night. The scent was very relaxing to us both, and as an added bonus, the wax from this candle is actually meant to be massaged into your skin. To use the candle, light it and allow a pool of warm oils and butters to form. Extinguish the flame, and then carefully massage the blend into your skin for a fragrant and warm massage. I gave my hubby a nice foot massage with the wax from the massage candle and he so enjoyed it. We're both on our feet a lot, and this certainly helped us to relax. I have also been lighting this candle when I sit down to read, and during my Pilate's workouts!

I have used Lemongrass Pore perfecting facial polish and still using it. Its quite effective and feels fresh.
