Tarra contacted us at MBP to review some of Demarle's products, and I was very excited and intrigued, because I had never heard of Demarle at Home, before.  Tarra graciously encouraged me pick out what I'd like to review, and with her help and guidance, we decided on the Man Pan.

Medium Perforated Baking Sheet

So, what can you cook on the Man Pan? Well, anything you can imagine! With the deep flexipat being 10" wide by 13.75" long by 1" deep, it is the perfect size for my family, and it's definitely affordable at $56.95. This is a product that will last for years to come! The first thing I decided to make on my flexipat, was roasted fingerling potatoes. I normally hate roasting potatoes, because they never cook evenly. Unfortunately, this leaves me with half cooked and half raw potatoes. Yuck! No one likes to eat a raw potato. I placed the potatoes in the oven at 350 degrees, for about 40 minutes and waited for the potatoes to cook through. When they were done, and smelling so good, I noticed how evenly browned they were, and saw that none of the potatoes were left raw. This was a first for me! My husband even commented on how they were some of the best potatoes he's had in a long time! Kudos Flexipat!

Since I had such positive results with my first use, I decided to see what else I could do with this amazing flexipat! The next Saturday morning, I decided to make bacon and eggs for breakfast. Usually, this is not a difficult task, but it has proven to be a very messy one. I hate all of the splattering and grease that comes from cooking the bacon. I've seen where people have baked their bacon, instead of frying it, and thought I would give it a whirl on the flexipat and perforated baking sheet. I placed the bacon in a 400 degree oven for ten minutes, and the bacon came out crisp,y and tasted better than it would have it I'd used the frying pan. Plus, there was no mess! I've baked chicken, roasted veggies and baked scones (you'll learn more about those in another review!), all on the flexipat. Everything that I have made with the Man Pan has come out perfectly and tasted absolutely delicious. On a side note, please use the flexipat only with the perforated baking sheet, as it is not made to be used on it's own, and you will have nasty results if you don't follow this rule!

The flexipat is a dream to use, and clean up is a breeze! If I baked anything that contained grease, I let it set on the flexipat, and then took a plastic spatula and scraped the grease off. Just a quick wipe with a sponge and warm water, and the flexipat was clean. Sometimes, I take a warm towel and wipe it clean. No extra washing required!

Once it's clean and time to put this wonder product away, it fits so well into my cupboard, next to the stove. Most of my pans are over sized and don't fit well into the space. I usually shove and jam things in there, which once resulted in a glass baking dish casualty. I was pretty devastated that day, so when this review opportunity arose, I was all over it. You can bend, roll, smash, shove, jam and run over the flexipat with your car, and it pops back into shape. It really is flexible, hence the name flexipat! There is no need to worry about breaking it or damaging it, because it's just not going to happen! That's what makes this such a perfect fit for most homes. This would make a great gift for a first time home owner, or someone who has an apartment kitchen. We all know how small those are! The Man Pan takes up very little space, which means no more keeping my baking sheets in the oven!

The Flexipat has changed my life, and the way I cook and bake for my family. I love the ease and use of my Man Pan, and it has quickly become my favorite item in the kitchen.
