Last Minute Gifts from LEGO

I have two boys at home who love building with blocks- big and small. My husband is a huge LEGO fan, and expects some kind of new LEGO toy in his stocking or wrapped, and waiting under the tree each and every Christmas. Balian, while still a bit young for LEGOs, loves to make towers, houses, and more- so I see a future LEGO lover, there. He's definitely ready to get his little hands on some DUPLO blocks!

LEGO is loved by many, and they've got some great sets ready for gifting this Christmas!
Check out a few of their top LEGO sets...

LEGO DUPLO introduces building to the youngest children with larger bricks that allow toddlers and preschoolers to play and learn as they stack, build, role play, and now, read. Teaching a child story sequencing, letter recognition and shape identification is now especially fun for preschoolers thanks to the new LEGO DUPLO Read and Build sets blending reading with construction play. Three board books to choose from: Grow Caterpillar Grow!, Busy Farm, and Let’s Go! Vroom! Come complete with the board book and LEGO DUPLO bricks for building the characters. And, all LEGO DUPLO bricks are compatible with classic LEGO bricks, making any LEGO DUPLO set the perfect investment in your child’s building career (Age 1 ½+ ; SRP $12.99).

The first licensed story to be brought to life in LEGO form is still one of the most popular lines globally. 2012 introduced 19 new sets, including new mini planet collectibles like “Naboo Starfighter & Naboo” and “TIE Interceptor & Death Star” – The planets double as storage pods, making it easy to keep everything in one place and great for on-the-go and as stocking stuffers.
