Hard to believe that Veteran's Day is already here. No one in my immediately family serves in the military right now, but both of my grandfathers were servicemen for a number of years. When I think of our great nation, I am definitely reminded that part of what makes it so great, is that we enjoy freedoms that many people around the world will never know. I think we all know that freedom isn't free- it's very costly, and we have our selfless, courageous servicemen and women to thank for keeping us safe. These brave troops may go without seeing their family for months or years, miss births and birthdays, and anniversaries- all for the sake of our freedom. And of course, no one will forget the brave men and women who have gone before us to fight for our freedom, some of them losing their very lives in the process.
