Rugged Bear (Review)

While I was pregnant, I thought for sure that I was going to have a hard time finding cute clothes for a boy. Boy, I was wrong. It's pretty easy, once you have selected a “style”. For Cameron, we try to do button ups, hoodies, and casual relaxed clothes. Thankfully, Rugged Bear sent us just that.

Cute and comfy, as well as ease of use, is very important when trying to dress someone who thinks they have one hundred other more important things to do (like roll away). The outfit we received from Rugged Bear was not only cute, but super easy to put on and adorable, plus super comfy.

Now, looking at this picture as well as the one I chose this from, I thought the pants were jeans. Which is fine- we love Cameron in jeans. Well, these Rugged Bear pants are actually more like a “jegging” for boys (a jean legging). They aren't quite a sweat pant, but not really a jean, either. They are really cute and light, but also warm and stretchy.

These Rugged Bear pants have excellent details, like the fake zipper area, a really cute pocket on the leg, elastic waistband and contrasting stitching.

This Rugged Bear outfit also came with a long sleeved shirt. It's a thicker shirt with neck side buttons to fit their giant baby heads through, with a super cute logo and contrasting collar.

Now, on to my favorite part of the Rugged Bear outfit and the reason I chose to review this one.... the hoodie. My husband and I are big on hoodies in the fall and winter, and Cameron has some super cute ones, and this Rugged Bear hoodie is going to make an AWESOME addition.

This Rugged Bear hoodie is adorable. It's not too thin and not too warm. The design is so cute, and it has functional pockets (not that my 9 month old needs pockets). It also has a good sturdy PLASTIC zipper (way important to me for so many reasons, like skin sensitivities, coldness on skin and to me, less likely to zip up skin).

I think that what I love most about this outfit, is how versatile all the pieces are. He can wear the Rugged Bear outfit as the set it came in, or break each piece up and wear with other items in his wardrobe.
