Campbell's Skillet Sauces (Review)

Lately, we have been on the go more than usual. I find that our family is getting home later and later in the evenings, but we're still wanting a home cooked meal. I don't want to deny my family a wholesome meal, but truth be told, there are night where I just don't want to deal with the chore of cooking, and then cleaning it all up, so close to bed time! So, sometimes I turn to mommy helpers, like Campbell's Skillet Sauces for those nights that leave me wishing I just had a little more time.

Campbell's is a well known and beloved soup brand, which we use on a regular basis in our home. I have come to trust their thick and creamy soups, so I knew that I was bound to love their newest addition to the Campbell's family- Campbell's Skillet Sauces. Campbell's recently introduced six yummy sauces, which come individually packaged in a handy little pouch, and are super convenient and easy to use!

I was sent a variety of these new sauces to try out, and couldn't wait to get into the kitchen, and get cookin'!
I received Thai Green Curry, Toasted Sesame, Marsala and Creamy Chipotle.

Yummy goody box of Campbell's Skillet Sauces...

I knew that getting my husband to give these sauces a try would be a challenge, so I decided to start with a tame flavor- the Marsala with Mushrooms and Garlic. I grabbed the pouch containing the Skillet Sauce and headed into the kitchen. I grabbed one chicken breast, filleted it, and browned the chicken in a bit of oil. Next, I poured the Marsala Skillet Sauce from Campbell's into the skillet, over and around the browned chicken. Next, I simmered the chicken in the sauce for about ten minutes.

Here's the chicken, simmering away in the Marsala Sauce...

While the chicken was simmering in the sauce (it smelled so delicious, by the way!), I boiled a pot of water and tossed in a few frozen cheese ravioli, and also heated up some garlic bread in the oven. When the timer went off, everything was cooked, and our bellies were rumbling! I plated up the chicken, and the ravioli, pouring the Marsala Skillet Sauce over the top.

I topped it all off with some Parmesan cheese. Doesn't it look delicious?

My husband and I both absolutely loved the flavorful Marsala Skillet Sauce from Campbell's! Our chicken came out tasting so juicy and it was very tender. I loved the sauce over my pasta. My husband is a fan of buttered noodles, which is all fine and good, but this gal likes flavor! Having the Skillet Sauces on hand, allow me to add a little zing to my dinner dishes, in a snap!

I can't wait to try the other sauces that I received... I'll just have to do that on a night when my husband won't be home for dinner!

Try all of the yummy sauce varieties from Campbell's:

Creamy Chipotle with Roasted Corn & Black Beans
Marsala with Mushrooms & Garlic
Thai Green Curry with Lemongrass & Basil
Toasted Sesame with Garlic & Ginger
Fire Roasted Tomato with Red Bell Peppers & Chiles
