As Balian grows before my eyes, we are exploring something new together each and every day. B is such a sweet little guy, and is an absolute lover of animals. He loves to read stories about animals, and one of his favorite animals from his favorite book just happens to be a horse name Horace. We've sort of started playing horsey with Balian, but he's a sturdy little fella, and there's only so much my back can take. So, imagine my delight and surprise when we were offered the chance to review a Rockin' Rider Pony from Tek Nek Toys!



Based in Colleyville, TX, Teknek Toys opened their doors in 1997, and they have been creating innovative toys for boys and girls of all ages, ever since! The folks at Tek Nek Toys love bringing safe, sturdy, durable toys to children, and love to see the smiles on children's faces while playing with their favorite Tek Nek Toys!



As soon as I got word that we would be receiving Tek Nek's popular Rockin' Rider Brown Pony ride on toy, I was excited, because I knew Balian would fall in love with it.

I was home alone when the Rockin' Rider Brown Pony arrived, and though I was excited to see it, I thought- Uh-oh, what if I have to put this together? When I opened up the box, the Brown Pony was all in one piece (it comes this way- no assembly required), and I was overjoyed! This is a sizable ride-on toy, and it would be the perfect size for my little cowboy.

I couldn't wait for Balian to get home, so I could introduce him to his new friend from Tek Nek Toys! Later that same day, Balian came home, and he saw his new pony waiting for him. He immediately ran up to the pony, and began to stroke his mane and pet him. He didn't waste any time swinging his leg over the pony to take him for a ride. Needless to say, he had a ton of fun! The next day, I showed Balian all of the fun things that the Rockin' Rider Brown Pony can do. His mouth moves when you press his ear. One ear makes the pony talk or plays sounds, and the other one makes the pony sing an adorable song about loving to have his coat brushed. Well, Balian got a big kick out of that and we spent most of the day playing cowboys and making the pony talk while Balian rode him.

As you can see, this boy loves his horse. His Great Grandpa Jones would be so proud! Not a day has gone by since we received the Rockin' Rider Brown Pony that we haven't played with him. I've even caught Balian sneaking my vegetable scrub brush out of the kitchen to brush his horsey- and I just have to smile, because it's such a precious sight!

I'll definitely be keeping it in mind for gifts for our friends little ones!

We love Rockin' Rider so much that we just might have to get one to keep at each of the grandparent's houses! They provide hours of safe playtime and entertainment of the best kind, and encourage children to use their imaginations! They even get moms and dads in on the fun playtime, too!
