Pear Tree Greetings (Review & Giveaway)

Before I became a mommy, I used to really love stationary, and corresponding with friends and family the old fashioned way. To me, receiving a hand written card or note, just made my day, and I loved to be able to make someone smile, by simply sending them some snail mail to let them know I was thinking about them. After Balian was born, I fell way behind- stopped sending out birthday and anniversary cards, and social decency just sort of seemed to go out the window. I just simply didn't have time to do the things I previously enjoyed doing.

Now that Balian is becoming an independent little toddler, I have (a little bit) more freedom in my day, to do a couple of things that I enjoy doing. I am working on re-stocking my gift-wrap and my stationary supply, and am having a lot of fun doing that. When I headed to the Pear Tree Greetings website to start browsing stationary styles, I was distracted, because they've already got their holiday cards out for customers to browse. I jotted down a few designs that I just fell in love with, so that I would remember to go back and do a little creating, later on. I was on a mission, though- to find the perfect personalized stationary set. All of the stationary that I have ordered in years past, has both my name and Sacha's name on it. This time, I wanted something just for myself. Selfish, I know!

Flower Power Notelettes from Pear Tree Greetings

I can never have enough thank you cards, and as I was browsing Pear Tree Greeting's selection of thank you cards, I noticed their adorable 'notelettes'. The Notelettes seemed to be the perfect little card for me- they are small in size, and don't fold over- just a simple front and back to them. I had the option to personalize them with my name, which I did. The personalization tool is pretty fun- it allowed me to select the font, style and size of my name. I'm sure I would have had many more options on a larger card.

After I made my personalization selections, I selected a set of 24 Notelettes for just over $22.00. Not a bad price at all. for personalized note cards. I submitted my order with no problem, and eagerly awaited my new cards.

My overall impression of the Notelettes was that they were just perfect! I loved their small size, and the design. The colors are right up my alley- the light blue, and grey, against the white. I am looking forward to using these Notelettes for a variety of things- especially to include one in the packaging of a gift, instead of taping a card into the box.
