Happy Little Tree Gallery (Review & Giveaway)

October is almost here, and I can finally pull out my Halloween decorations! Though I love to decorate for Halloween, I do most of my home decorating inside of the house. I have very little outdoor decor for Halloween, because I'm pretty picky about what I'll display outside, and I have a hard time finding things that I don't think are tacky. So, when I decided to put together a little fun Halloween series of reviews and giveaways, I was being sort of particular about who I decided to contact for this event.

When I came across the Etsy Shop, Happyliltree, owned by Tracy Parsons, I fell in love with her style. I browsed a fantastic selection of gorgeous art- paintings on canvas, garden decor and note cards. Tracy is a self-taught artist, and all it takes is a glance at her work to find that tid-bit absolutely amazing! Tracy hails from Ohio, and loves to create items that everyone can enjoy.

Tracy does have a few seasonal items listed in her shop, and I was drawn to her Halloween Path Light Stakes.Tracy very warmly agreed to send me my very own set of six path light candle decorations, and I couldn't wait for them to arrive!

Tracy took great care to be sure to package the glass votive holders in a way that they would not end up broken or damaged. I love our mail carrier- but the mail in general, is sometimes rough on packages. Each path light stake from Tracy was well-wrapped in thick paper, and placed into a box for mailing. When  unwrapped the stakes, each one was in tact, and I was so happy about that, because they are glass.

My path light votive holder stakes from Happyliltree...

As I looked the votives on the stakes over, I got so excited for Halloween! I think I've mentioned that it's one of my favorite holidays to decorate for. I laid them all out on the table, so I could see them all in a row, along with my other goodies from Tracy- a set of six battery operated tea lights, and a handwritten note with adorable Halloween icons on it!

These votive holders are spookily cute, and so pretty!

Each stake was made by Tracy- she painted each of the glass votive holders, added the cute Halloween bat or spider to each one, by stencil, and coated with clear glittery specs. Each votive holder is attached to a wooden base, attached to a painted wooden rod, creating the stake.

Of course, I couldn't wait until October first to see what these looked like set up outside, so I took them out the my front yard, and carefully placed them, lining my front walk. I had to take a little care to be very gentle when putting the wooden stakes into the ground. The ground is sort of hard due to the lack of rain, and I didn't want to end up with a broken stake! I stepped back and took a few pictures. They looked great! I couldn't wait to see what they looked like at night time, all lit up- so I waited, and then snapped a picture while it was dark outside. The wooden path light decorations are a great way to decorate for Halloween and light the way for eager little goblins, looking for candy and other treats on All Hallow's Eve. I can't wait to hear remarks from parents and kiddos in the neighborhood when they swing by our house on Halloween. I imagine that the folks driving by in the meantime, will get a kick out of them, too!

A closer look...

A super close look! Look at that sparkly spider!

Just a little word of caution from Tracy to parents: While these are fun and festive, they are still GLASS, so be sure to watch your little ones around them, and if you do decide to use real tea lights, instead of battery operated ones, watch little ones who walk up your path to collect their Halloween tricks or treats!

Tracy has so many wonderful decor items and pieces of art available in her shop. You all know how hard it is for me to pick and choose favorite pieces to feature within a review post, but here are the ones at the top of my list, made by Tracy...
