Voda Swim (Review & Giveaway)

If someone told me that I'd be posing comfortably in a bathing suit for the entire world to see, I wouldn't believe it. If there's one thing that I am super self-conscious about, it's my body. And I know that a bunch of readers will read this post, and then look at my photo and think I'm nuts, or may even be upset, but when you have body image issues, it's the sort of thing that just never goes away.

I usually avoid getting into a bathing suit. There are certain instances, though, that really call for swimwear. I dislike bathing suits, not because I hate my body, I really just have a hard time finding suits that fit comfortably. I have a small chest, that's been left completely destroyed after nursing my son. I love him, and would breastfeed all over again, but I was absolutely not prepared for the imminent deflation that would take place once he decided to wean himself. So, I rarely find a bathing suit top covers where I need coverage, and pushes the girls up... to where they used to be!

So, when I got the opportunity to review an Envy Push-Up Shirred Tankini and Scoop Bottom from Voda Swim, I jumped at the chance! Summer is coming to a close, but we've still got plenty of warm weather weekends left to enjoy!

Scoop Bottom

Voda swimsuits are unlike any other swim suit I have ever tried on! The Envy Push Up tops were created to maximize the subtle curves of a smaller bust (like mine), without being really obvious. There's no uncomfortable underwire, no sagging when wet, and no stiff padding. The material of the Voda swimsuit actually does not absorb water, which helps it to retain its shape when it gets wet. Voda boasts that their Envy Push Up tops can increase your cup size by 1-2 cups!

See the Voda difference!

They only way I'd find out the truth about Voda, would be to try it for myself.

We've already done our family beach vacation for the year, but a friend of our has a lake house, and recently invited us over for an afternoon of boating, jet skiing, and a nice dinner. Since I've gained a little extra around the waist lately, I wanted to cover my tummy and knew that it would be a great time to try out my new Voda Swim Envy Push Up Shirred Tankini in aqua.

The Voda Swim Envy Push Up Tankini in Aqua

I love the way the push up tankini fits! It hugs my curves, but it isn't too tight. Surprisingly, the push up tankini by Voda Swim really does give my bust a little boost! It's nice to be able to feel good about myself in a swimsuit again. The best fit comes on the bottom. I usually have a super hard time finding a bathing suit bottom that I like. They're all either cut too high, cut into the wrong places, and many of them (now that I'm a mom) cut right underneath my baby pooch- which I hate! The Scoop Bottom covers where I need and want coverage. And the baby pooch? Forget about it! Not an issue in my Voda Swimsuit!

I am happy to report that my suit from Voda Swim stayed in place the entire afternoon out on the lake. We went for a boat ride, and hubby and I even took out the jet ski, and I had no problems with the tankini top or the scoop bottom moving around on me. I felt like I could have been on the jet ski in that swimsuit for hours!

I could talk about how great the fit is, and what a difference this suit from Voda Swim makes in my bust line, but you really need to see photo proof.
So, here ya go- you be the judge...

Without the Envy Push Up Tankini...

Now I know where to find a beautiful, great-fitting suit that I can feel confident in. When I step out onto the beaches of Cozumel, Belize, Roatan and Grand Cayman in January 2013, you can bet I'll be rockin' my Voda Swimsuit!  This color is going to look gorgeous against the crystal clear blue waters, too!

I may even want to order another Voda Swimsuit to take on my trip!
