PPW Toys Review & Giveaway Part II

~Part of MBP's Back to School 2012 Feature~

One of my all time favorite movies, one I can watch over and over again, involves a girl and her dog, a Scarecrow, a Tin Man, a Lion, and a few witches (some good and some bad). Can you guess what it is? If you guessed The Wizard of Oz, you were correct! The Wizard of Oz is such a classic movie that everyone can enjoy. My kids recently have gotten in to watching it and love to sing "We're off to see the Wizard!"

B and S have great imaginations and love to reenact things they have seen, they especially love when they have figurines to reenact with. We once again got to work with PPW Toys who provided us with not only some figurines, but classic Mr. Potato Head toys made into characters from one of our favorite family movies. You can only bet my kids have been having a ball.

Click here to read more about PPW Toys or check out Part I of our PPW Toys review for more information about the company or Jennifer, our PPW Toys contact. Once again PPW Toys has outdone themselves for offering us such opportunities to share with our readers. Thanks Jennifer and PPW Toys, we appreciate all you have done for us!

Our huge box with items from Part I and Part II, we are such lucky little kids!
We truly felt so excited and thankful for getting some amazing things from PPW Toys. Our box was overflowing with goodies and we can't wait to share the rest of our finds with you.

Look who we found-Dorothy, Toto, The Scarecrow, The Tin Man, and The Cowardly Lion
We loved the packaging of the Potato Heads. The large box was clear on the front so that all of the characters were visible. Behind the characters was a colored box complete with a yellow brick road, fields of poppies, and The Emerald City.

PPW Toys currently sells a special set of The Wizard of Oz Mr. Potato Heads. Inside the box, were 4 separate Mr./Mrs. Potato Head figures, each dressed as a character from The Wizard of Oz.

Dorothy is the only Mrs. Potato Head in the group. She is very well constructed and true to her movie character. She has brown hair in pigtails complete with blue bows, bright eyes, and red lips. She also wears a blue and white checkered dress and ruby red slippers. On her arm is a small basket with Toto too. Dorothy is made up of 9 parts, including her body. Mrs. Potato Head Dorothy is such a great homage to the real Dorothy and S's favorite new toy. Mrs. Potato Head Dorothy retails for around $20 as a single.

The Tin Man Potato Head is also made of quality materials that will hold up over time. He has a Tin Man costume, complete with shoes and funnel hat. On his costume is the red heart he receives from the Wizard of Oz, I love this special touch. He also is holding an oil can. The Tin Man is made up of 8 total parts, including his body. Mr. Potato Head Tin Man retails for around $20 as a single.

The Cowardly Lion Potato Head is another great replica of the real Wizard of Oz character. He has a full lion mane with red bow, just like he got in his Emerald City makeover. He also is wearing his badge of courage from the Wizard, another great touch to complete toy. Mr. Potato Head Cowardly Lion is made up of 8 total parts, including his body and retails for around $20 as a single.

The Scarecrow Potato Head is my favorite of the four Potato Heads. He has so much character and I can just picture the real Scarecrow in the movie when I look at him. He has perfect scarecrow clothing, complete with straw poking out, he also has his diploma from the Wizard in one hand, and the cutest little Mr. Potato Head crow in the other. Mr. Potato Head Scarecrow is made up of 8 parts including his body and retails for $20 as a single.

Up until recently, you could only purchase the Mr. Potato Head Wizard of Oz as a set. This set was complete with all 4 of the characters listed above and retailed for around $60. Single characters are now available and retail around $20. These characters are great, quality toys that honor a classic movie and will be loved by kids and adults alike.

My kids love The Wizard of Oz!
