There are so many things that bring a smile to my face come springtime, trees and flowers in bloom, families playing outside, animals emerging, thoughts of the coming Easter season and all it has to offer us. I also love to see all the goodies out there that will fill those baskets on Easter morning.

 

Now being a part of Mommy's Block Party has brought a new understanding and appreciation of getting a package in the mail. My kids know that inside that box or envelope is going to probably be something for one of them, lucky things! Today was just another example of that, package by the front door, a tell tale sign that a new product is joining our house.

 

Working with Scentsy is always a good experience. I got a chance to work with Agena, who is local to the Indy area. We have been talking for a few weeks now and today she dropped off, you read that right, she dropped off my Scentsy package to my doorstop. Our package, which I knew would be on our front porch when we got home from some errands, came just in time for our Easter week and weekend. I couldn't make the kids wait to open it or heaven forbid, try to hide it from them to save for Easter morning so they were thrilled to have an early Easter surprise.

 There was also a very nice handwritten note from Agena, a Spring/Summer 2012 catalog, and a Layers by Scentsy catalog.

 

Wellington the Duck Scentsy Buddy is so cute. He is a very light yellow, super soft and snuggly, and has a hooded yellow removable raincoat. He is perfect for Spring, ready for any crazy Indiana weather that may come his way. Wellington is one of the featured monthly Scentsy products. He retails for $25 and will include one Scentsy Scent Pack. There are 8 different Scentsy Buddies to choose from and also 8 Scentsy Baby Buddies Our Wellington came with a French Lavender Scent Pack. It has a very pure, fresh smell to it and was very calming. I didn't think it was overpowering and once inside Wellington (inside his back zippered pouch) added such a nice touch. He can easily sit on a bed or dresser, looking cute and Springy and provide that extra whiff of fragrance. One Scent Pack is included, but you can buy any number of them, with 44 fragrances to choose from and only $7 each, you can add them anywhere in your home or car to freshen up.

Wellington can be machine washed on the delicate cycle, safely in a pillowcase (please remove the Scent Pack) if he has had too much fun playing in the rain or mud.

Beckett's favorite part of his new friend Wellington is this. Here you can "adopt" your Scentsy Buddy and play a few different games, download coloring pages, and find out more information about all the Scentsy Buddies. B's favorite part was the Memory game, I enjoyed the Claw game. Agena, in her note, had written a quick bit about it and B was all about it, so thanks for the great tip. The website is also included on Wellington's tag.

 

On a side note, Wellington has been so popular at our house and has quickly made friends with all the other stuffed animals. Wellington is currently snuggled up tightly for the night with S in her bed. I hope the French Lavender soothed them both to sleep.
