As we begin gearing up for Easter in the Witt house, I am frantically trying to figure out what Balian is going to wear to church on Easter Sunday. My sweet little boy is quickly growing out of his dress clothes, and Easter is definitely an occasion to dress him up. I have also been spotting lots and lots of cute Easter-themed shirts for the little ones. Some have little chicks, and others have bunnies and the like, which are absolutely adorable, but a lot of times, it can be hard to find a seasonal shirt for a little boy that isn't too 'cutesy'. My husband was over 'cutesy' clothing for Balian before his first birthday rolled around, so I am now charged with the responsibility and challenge of dressing Balian cute, but boy-ish!

I really love dressing Balian up for the holidays and snapping adorable photos of him to share with family and friends, so I felt that an Easter shirt was definitely in order. I came across Zoey's Attic- The Pecking Order, an adorable shop which offers customized digitally printed tees for boys and girls of all ages. I noticed that they had an incredible selection of Easter shirts, and got in touch with Erin, the owner of Zoey's Attic- The Pecking Order. Erin was excited to work with MBP and offered to send a shirt for Balian to be reviewed.
Erin Delanty began Zoey's Attic in November 2006, shortly after she and her husband welcomed their daughter Bridget into the world. In 2008, Bridget became a big sister and the inspiration continued! Erin wanted out of the ordinary newborn shirts, and ways to make big announcements fun for the whole family! She started a website, where she could offer her designs to the masses, and it was a huge hit- making a sale just two days within her site going live! The name Zoey's Attic comes from her daughter's stuffed animal- Zoey, and 'attic,' placed with it, because there are always treasures to be found in the attic. So true!
The Easter design we chose to review is absolutely adorable, but not too cutesy- so appropriate for a little boy. Erin went right to work on the shirt for us and had it on my doorstep within just a few days. The shirt came to us folded so nicely, and tucked inside its own clear plastic envelope, with a blue and white polka dotted ribbon tied around the package.

This is a cotton t-shirt, in an 18 mo size. I was surprised and excited that this 18 mo size tee ran a little larger for Balian than most do. This means he'll be able to wear it longer! This adorable tee features a bunny face, with Balian's name in capital letters underneath, and a circle of text reading 'Hoppy Easter,' surrounding the image. I love this bunny- he's the perfect little bunny for my sweet little man to sport this holiday season. The colors and text of this design is totally customizable. On the order form for this shirt at Zoey's Attic- The Pecking Order, you can note any color or text specifications in the 'Special Instructions/Notes' section.
One thing that's important to note, is that these shirts are digitally printed (in Erin's basement!), which means that the fibers of the shirts are dyed with eco-friendly, water based inks, and printed on a superior quality, super soft tee, for long-lasting durability. This is the best t-shirt quality technology available today! There's no iron-on or heat transferred images or text here. We're going to get lots and lots of wear out of this Easter shirt!

Of course, I couldn't wait for Easter to roll around to have Balian try on his new shirt. I paired the Easter tee with a pair of light blue knit pants, and it looked so cute! As soon as Balian saw his new shirt, he wanted to wear it... he kept saying, 'sirt?' Once the shirt was one, Balian kept touching the bunny face and laughing- this Easter tee has definitely been a big hit with him! I tried to change his shirt after I snapped a few pictures, just so it wouldn't end up stained, but he just didn't want to take it off... so, he wore his new shirt all day! The tee is so super soft, but it's also durable. I can tell that this shirt is going to be around for a long time! I can't wait for the neighborhood Easter egg hunt, and to dress Balian in this cute shirt for the festivities! Oh, the pictures I'll get to take! I also plan to have Balian wear this after church on Easter Sunday when we go to Grammy and Papa's house for the afternoon. It'll be so much fun to watch him tear into his Easter basket in this adorable shirt!

Hopefully, I'll be able to snap some better photos when someone else is around to have Balian sit on their lap or something. It's super hard to get that boy to stay still for five seconds!
