Part of Our St. Patrick's Day Feature

I love being able to dress Balian all cute-like everyday, but it's even more fun to have an occasion to dress him up. Holidays and special events call for super cute outfits, and St. Patrick's Day is no exception. There's really no Irish blood flowing through my veins, but my husband's got a little Irish blood in his- so that means that Balian does, as well. It just wouldn't seem right not to dress him in the spirit of St. Patrick's Day!

I was recently contacted by GoldenEel.com, who offered us a St. Patrick's Day themed item for review. I combed their holiday themed products (and they had a lot to choose from) and finally decided to choose something for my little man- because he makes me feel like the luckiest mommy in the whole world!

I decided on their 'Born Lucky' onesie, and opted to go for the 24 mo size, just because some of the 18 mo tops Balian has been wearing have started becoming a little bit snug, depending on the fit. So, I'd rather just err on the side of caution and take the chance that it might be just a tad too big- which, at the rate my child is growing, won't stay too big for long.

It didn't take more than just a few days for the adorable green onesie from GoldenEel.com to arrive in my mailbox. I was pretty excited to check it out! For some reason, new clothing (even if it's not for me) always excites me! I immediately noticed that the onesie was neatly packaged- folded nicely, and hugged by an eco-friendly paper band, made from recycled paper. Gotta love the green theme through and through! The cotton onesie looked cute- the material was a soft, light green, long-sleeved onesie, and the print was nice and bold. I couldn't wait to see what Balian thought of it and how it would look on him!

Balian's new 'Born Lucky' Onesie from GoldenEel.com- all wrapped up...

Pretty cute, huh?

I did give the onesie a wash, first- that's just how I roll. I washed it with like colors in cold water, and tumble dried it on the lowest knit setting on my dryer. It didn't look like it shrank at all, and none of the colors bled, so we were good to go. The weather is very spring-like here in NC. One day we'll be in the mid-forties, and the next, we'll be in the seventies. Long sleeves are still needed down here in March, so I knew I had made the right choice on this onesie for Balian.

Balian really seemed to like wearing his new St. Patrick's Day themed onesie from GoldenEel.com. It fit him wonderfully. He has a little room to grow, and the only place it seemed really roomy (of all places) was the neckline. No major issues. It wore well all day long, and even though it's obviously a St. Patrick's Day themed onesie, it's not so holiday-looking that he couldn't wear it at other times, as well.

Here's my little Mr. G.Q....
