I am a traveling momma! Seriously, I don't know how I manage to keep up with my own schedule, sometimes. Through out the year, I have two (maybe three) family vacations planned, church retreat weekends, music writing retreat weekends, and the occasional 'I just want to get away' weekend, as well. I love to travel, but packing can definitely put a damper on happy plans. It's not that I hate packing, it's that I have hated for a very long time the luggage I have to pack things in. When I'm headed out of town, it's usually only for a couple of nights, and I hate lugging around a bulky suitcase for a two day trip!

When I found Liscotta Designs- Monogram Me, I fell in love with the Personalized Travel Tote-to-Go. Not only did I love the design, but I loved that it looked like it would make the perfect weekender bag- something that's been on my mommy wishlist for a long time. Lisa Kirby, owner of Liscotta Designs kindly offered to send me this too good to be true tote to try out! Knowing my busy travel schedule, I knew that the tote would be put to good use right away! Lisa kindly allowed me to choose a name or monogram to be embroidered onto the tote, so I chose my initials. This was to be mommy's bag, and I wanted everyone in my house to know it! 

My new monogrammed tote-to-go arrived within just a few days. It came individually wrapped in clear plastic, with a lovely business card tucked inside. The fabric is a soft, but truly durable black and white damask (I personally love this design and the colors!). The handles of the tote are a really fun almost hot pink color, and the embroidery thread of the monogram matches the pink pretty much exactly.

Now, this isn't any ordinary travel bag. The cool thing about this tote-to-go is that it folds up and snaps closed for quick and easy storage! I know that you can fold up any old travel bag- but chances are, it'll come unfolded as soon as you try to shove it back into the closet, and you'll end up so completely frustrated by it that's you'll just leave it lying there- opened on the closet floor, and you may even lose a stray shoe in there! When I'm not using my tote-to-go from Liscotta Designs-Monogram Me, I can just fold it right up and tuck it into the tiniest space to store it until I am ready to use it again. I could even hang it in my laundry room, where I keep a lot of my reusable shopping bags, or on the back of my pantry door. The handles stay completely in tact when folded up, so you can hang the tote-to-go anywhere you please!

With the tote-to-go unfolded and ready to be used, I can fill it to the brim with everything I need for a weekend getaway! This really is a very roomy tote (opens to a large 14.5" x 23" x 7.25" bag), and because it's made with a thick, durable fabric, I don't have to worry about making it too heavy and not being able to carry it with ease. It's got plenty of room for clothes and shoes, toiletries, and maybe even a Nook!

Just look at how beautiful the tote-to-go from Liscotta Designs is! I am proud and honored to carry Lisa's beautiful design with me! Now, the tote does zip closed, so you don't have to worry about losing items out of the tote. The top pink flap does fold over to the front and snap closed, as well. I recently used my tote-to-go for an overnight trip, and I ended up with extra room in my bag (which never happens!). I plan to use my tote-to-go on all of my upcoming trips as my weekender bag. When we go to the beach for our family vacation this year, there are a number of things I could use this bag for- games, snacks, etc for the car ride, I could use it as the beach bag (though I don't want to get it all sandy!), would be great to tote a picnic blanket and a few other things along, too! The fabric is wipeable, so I can easily wipe it down with a little warm soapy water, if need be. The things you could use a bag like this for are definitely aplenty! I, however, will really enjoy using this bag just for myself when I travel. I even want to look into getting one of these for my sister, who makes a lot of 2-3 day trips flying from OK to NC to visit us every now and then, because it's the perfect carry-on bag!

I love the design of the embroidered monogram that Lisa chose for me. The thread color definitely stands out against the black and white fabric, and I just love the pretty font she used, as well. Most of the bags I own get used for a multitude of things, but now I own a bag that I really feel is mine. This is a quality bag that I know will be with me for a long time! You could really end up spending a lot of money on a nice bag like this, and even more money having it personalized. I love that the items found at Liscotta Designs are affordable! I really mean it, too- I'm not just saying that. A mom like me whose wallet is constantly being drained by trips to the store for diapers, milk, juice, etc, can absolutely afford this bag and many more from Liscotta Designs! At just $15.00 for this wonderful tote, you can have one, too! Oh, and the embroidery is free (one name, only, one large initial, or three letter monogram)! I know- seems unreal!
