I am fairly lucky when it comes to my skin. I have pretty normal skin, not too dry, not too oily and I wear very light makeup daily. I do have a few dark spots on my left cheek and a few small starts to wrinkles near my eye/forehead area. Other than that, I can't complain much.
In my facial products stash I have a range of items from regular drugstore brands, larger cosmetic brands, and also from some direct sales makeup companies. One of those companies is Avon.
Avon is a 125 year old company, the world's largest direct seller, marketed in over 100 countries, and strive to follow their 5 Avon Values-trust, respect, belief, humility, and integrity. I, for one, have purchased and used Avon products in the past and have always been happy with the results and products. That is why when I was asked to review one of their Anew Clinical products, I was more than willing to try it out.

As my review item, Margaret sent me the Luminosity Pro Brightening Serum from the Anew Clinical product line.
**Per the Avon Luminosity information, Luminosity is Avon's first topical serum with injectable-grade skin brightener. It contains a dual formula of Anti-Dark Spot Helix(formulated with injectable-grade L-Aspartic Acid to help inhibit pigment production) and Brightening Gel(formulated to help remove dull skin cells that can add years to look of skin). **
Luminosity comes in a 1 fluid ounce plastic pump-style bottle. I really liked the look of the bottle and packaging. I have been using it almost every night, although sometimes I do forget, for about three weeks.
To use, every night, smooth a very small amount over clean face and neck. I usually use one pump of the bottle and have plenty for my entire face and neck area. Some people may experience a tingling sensation after it is applied, I have only had it occur right near my lips when they were really dry. The bottle directions recommend that if you experience tingling to wait 15 minutes after you clean your face or use less of the serum. I have noticed my face feels a bit greasy after it is applied, but for me, it quickly goes away, but do be careful near your eyes as I got a bit to close and it made my eyes teary.
Although I took before and after pictures, I can't see much of difference in the photos, but I have noticed my dark spots on my cheek have seemed to lighten some and with my light makeup are virtually unnoticeable. I also seem to have less of a tired mom look when I wake up in the morning. I would not say anything has been drastic as of yet, but according to the Avon website a clinical study of 8 weeks showed the best results.
Overall, I am pleased with my Avon Anew Clinical Luminosity and will be happy to continue to apply the Luminosity every night and hope for my dark spots to continue to lighten and my tired morning look to brighten.
