Faye's Attic Review & Giveaway

There's nothing I love more than decorating for the holidays! I just put all of the Halloween decor away and swapped it for the pilgrims, cornucopias and turkeys! I put my Christmas decorating up the day after Thanksgiving, instead of trying to go shopping, so I have to let my Thanksgiving decor have their due spotlight for the few weeks they are visible.

For some reason, I always have it in my head that I own more Christmas decorations than I actually do. Maybe I get them confused with the number of ornaments I own, which is a lot! So, when I was given the opportunity to work with Rachel, owner of Faye's Attic on Etsy, I just about jumped through the roof! Faye's Attic offers beautiful and cute wooden block sets (and more!) for all kinds of holidays and occasions. Rachel offered to send me a set of her blocks to review, and I couldn't wait to see what she was going to send me!

Rachel decided to go with a set of her Christmas blocks, and sent me the JOY holiday blocks. These blocks are handmade and gorgeous! They are sanded and stained, and then quality card stock is added atop the faces of the blocks. The blocks are then embellished with vinyl letters and ribbon, etc! The tallest block is 9 inches. The length of all these blocks put together is 10 inches. $15.00 for the set!

Just take a look at these beautiful blocks...

J-O-Y... pure joy in my house and in my heart!

I have yet to find the perfect place to display these blocks. I am thinking that they might go on my mantle. I have some beautiful garland and votive holders that would look just lovely draped in and around these blocks! I know that I could go out to the hobby and home stores and buy Christmas decor, but there's just something about handmade items to me. They offer a sense of family togetherness and just make you feel all warm and fuzzy when you look at them! Also, because these blocks are handmade from quality materials, I know that if I care for them properly, they are going to last for a very long time! I intend this to be one of those decorations that my children remember when they're older.

Along with these beautiful blocks, Faye's Attic has a variety of other decorative items.
