I am always on the lookout for adorable clothes for Balian. I figure that while he's still a little guy and doesn't know anything differently, I can get away with dressing him all cutesy-like for a while longer. Since we're home a lot, I do a lot of late night browsing on Etsy... actually, I sort of have an addiction to Etsy! A few weeks ago, I was browsing children's clothing while we were in the car, and I saw some really cute clothes for little boys from a shop called Chickadee Station.
Sarah, owner of Chickadee Station agreed to send us one of her adorable little boys t-shirts to review for our Holiday Gift Guide. Sarah is super talented and makes all kinds of unique clothing for boys and girls, as well as accessories! I had a lot of fun looking through all of the shirts and outfits available in her shop. Even though I don't have a little girl, I still like to look at little girl things! Who knows- I may have one some day, or I may have a cute little niece (not trying to drop any hints, here...). I was really drawn to Sarah's appliqued Tie T-shirts for little boys, though. I've seen a few of them here or there around Etsy, but I never see them in any retail shops, and I don't think I've ever seen one on any little boys in my town. To me, these are one of a kind and I couldn't wait to see which style Sarah picked to send to us.
Balian's new shirt from Chickadee Station arrived in no time!
Here's the shirt Sarah decided to send to us...
The t-shirt came to us with a cute little sale tag on it, a Chickadee Station business card, and a Chickadee Station tag sewn into the back of the shirt.
Sarah uses only the best t-shirts for her designs. This long sleeved tee is 100% cotton, and super, super soft! Seriously, I couldn't stop hugging Balian while he wore this shirt! Okay, so I do love to hug him, regardless! The 'tie' is heat fused to the tee, and then machine sewn. The shirt is machine washable (cold, inside out) and should be laid flat to dry. Once washed, the design is meant to fray a little to create a vintage look. Cool, huh? This tie features blue, burgandy and tan colors. Chickadee Station can create custom color combos if you're wanting a certain look. This is a toddler tee, but these tie designs can also be made on a onesie or bodysuit. This particular style shirt is $20.00.
I love Balian's new shirt from Chickadee Station! I can let him wear this shirt to church, for family photos, and just for every day wear, too. He seemed really comfortable in this shirt and wore it all day long with no objections.

I can't wait for a few days to pass so I can let Balian wear his new tee again! It's just a little big on him yet, but that's perfect, because that means he can wear it for more than a minute before he grows out of it!
