Darn you, fall and winter months! You make my skin and nails so dry and rough! I want us to be friends, but it is so hard for us to get along with you making my life so miserable. I work with my hands everyday, and they are on display for all the world to see. I hand people their boarding passes, throw their bags, and run the boarding pass reader, among other things, and everyday people get to look at my nasty, dry, cracked nails and cuticles, and I feel so embarrassed. I always want to have beautiful nails, but I just don't have the money to run out every 2 weeks to get a manicure, and I really just don't have the time. I needed something that I could do myself, at home that would cut back on my time and cost, that would give me amazing results and believe me I have tried many things and nothing seemed to work.
I was a little skeptical when we were asked to review BeautiControls Instant Spa Manicure from Jennifer Farley. How could something give you an instant manicure? Now, I love BeautiControl, I almost became a consultant a few years ago, but never got around to it. So I am pretty familiar with the BeautiControl line, but had never heard of the Instant Manicure. I wanted to give it a try, so as soon as it arrived at my home, I tore into the box and hurried up to photograph it so I could try it. .
I was so impressed by the design of the product, and that Jen included a little print out of instructions for me to follow and I really appreciated that. I am a visual hands on person, so even though the instant manicure is a no brainer on how to use but being able to have a step by step guide was a thoughtful touch! First you mix the manicure with the scooper, making sure that it is mixed well. Then, scoop a nickle sized amount into your hands and scrub them together including your cuticles for about 30-45 seconds.Rinse with warm water and dry your hands. Use just a pea sized amount of lotion on your hands. A Little goes a long way, trust me!! A pea sized amount will last 3 washings.
After taking off my rings, and mixing the instant manicure, I scooped a small amount of the mixture into my hands and began to scrub. I immediately noticed a difference in how my skin looked, and as soon as I washed it off, my skin glowed and was so smooth. Once dry and the lotion was on my hands and cuticles, I couldn't believe how soft and shiny my hands and nails were. My husband said they were as smooth as a baby's behind! I had a good laugh, and then thought, "yeah, they really are!" Oh, and the scent is amazing too. It worked so well on my hands, I am thinking of using it on my dry rough feet! This comes as a suggestion from my Hubby! Thanks Hun! The instant manicure set is a holiday spice set, and the smell lasts for hours. I was instantly transformed into the holiday spirit, and I wanted to light a fire and sit back with a cup of cider. I know, sounds silly but I love any kind of holiday scent, especially with it being so close to Thanksgiving and Christmas, most of us can't get enough of those warm scents.
Nickle Sized Amount of Scrub!
The Instant manicure really does give you a manicure in less than a minute and it is so user friendly. Coming from a company like BeautiControl, you know you are getting a quality product at an affordable price. $28.00 for the scrub, I mean come on, that is the price of one manicure. Being able to have many manicures for the price of one is a gold mine! This would make the perfect gift for a friend or family member that is the dreaded "hard to shop for" person in your life. Or, it would make a great stocking stuffer. I know several people in my life who would love to have this in their stocking this year. And maybe they will if they have been nice! Or if you have been nice, maybe you will win one. Jen has been kind enough to offer one of our lucky readers the chance to win an Instant Manicure set of their very own.
