A party isn't much of a party without candles, but when there are tiny guests, real flames pose potential real danger. It's always a nice idea to have your home smelling lovely when you have friends or family coming over. Personally, I love to have fragrances permeating my home all the time. With Balian, though, it's getting harder and harder to try to burn actual candles. I love everything about candles- they way they look, they way they smell and the soft flicker and glow that dances for all to see. I love the mood candles put me in, too- a happy, relaxed one... so it's no surprise that we want our guests to be able to feel that same sense of relaxation in our homes.
Many candle and fragrance companies are now offering fragrance alternatives so we don't have to worry about the risks that come with burning real candles. Let's face it, when you're in a crowded space and have different candles burning, someone is bound to knock into one of them and possibly burn themselves from the flame or the hot wax... and I don't even want to think about what would happen if a candle got knocked into a curtain or worse. When she found out about Balian's big 1st birthday bash, my friend Sherri with PartyLite Gifts wanted to send us a safe fragrance alternative to use and feature at the party. I was so thrilled and excited by her offer. We had Balian's party at my parent's house, and I knew they'd love the idea of not having to burn candles, and still be able to have their home smelling lovely for the party.
Frosted Treat ScentGlow Warmer from PartyLite...
Sherri did tell me what she was going to send me, but I still wasn't quite sure what to expect. When the package from PartyLite arrived at my house, I couldn't wait to see what was inside! There was a lovely box, nicely packaged waiting for me, and when I opened it, I was greeted by a cheery sweet treat! Sherri sent me a Frosted Treat ScentGlow Warmer! It's only the most adorable fragrance warmer I have ever seen! This cute as a button cupcake fragrance warmer warms my heart every time I see it! I love everything about it- the adorable design and colors, the ease of use and the fragrance options! It's super easy to use. Remove the cute cherry topper lid and drop one or two Scent Plus Melts into the dish. Turn the warmer on, and the little light bulb inside the warmer warms the wax melts enough to melt them and release the fragrance. You can even use PartyLite's Scented Oil fragrances with the warmer! You control how strong you want the fragrance to be. I like a lot of fragrance, so when I use the warmer, I just leave the cherry topper off, and the scents comes through a bit stronger.

When we were setting up for the birthday party, I told my mom I needed to put the warmer in a place everyone would see it, so she cleared a space in the living room, where everyone would gather, eat and open gifts. I knew that I didn't have to worry about the warmer in a room full of people. No one was going to knock into it, but if by chance they did, nothing would happen to it. My mom thought the warmer was the cutest thing she'd ever seen, too! I could see the obvious joy the adorable design brought her. When everyone arrived for the party, they couldn't get over the Frosted Treat ScentGlow Warmer. Everyone was stopping to look at it, wanted to know how it worked and wanted to know where I got it from! And as if that weren't enough, Sherri was sweet enough to send us some birthday candles! They're the perfect size for birthday cakes, and come in a variety of colors! They were all packaged, and I believe Sherri sent me eight little boxes of them. We used one of the candles on Balian's birthday cake, and the others, we offered as party favors to our guests. We wanted everyone to take home a little bit of PartyLite! They thought that was a super cute idea, and I didn't know Sherri was sending those to me, so that was a sweet surprise!

I think I would use that cute warmer on my banister right inside my front door so everyone would see it when they entered!! :) If it got in the way there with the kids (and husband lol) running up and down stairs, I would use it as a centerpiece on my kitchen table to show it off and make everything smell yummy!!!
