I am always up for reviewing anything that Balian is going to enjoy, so when I was given the opportunity to try out an new and innovative way to decorate his room, I of course, jumped at the chance to do so. A couple of months ago, I came across Fandangling, which turns any ceiling fan into a fun, fantastic, whimsical object to enjoy and look at!

What is it, you ask? Well, Fandangling sells ceiling fan kits for baby and kid's rooms. They are little plush objects that simply adhere to the blade of a ceiling fan. The plush toys are connected to the adhesive strip from the toy by a lightweight, yet sturdy ribbon. So when they're all in place- each plush toy adhered to a fan blade, you simply turn the fan on, and watch them swing round and round! It's so much fun!

There are several Fandangling kits to choose from, including kits designed to entertain babies, and kits geared more toward older children. The Baby kits offer themes such as: Safari, Bugz, Pupparatzi, Underwater Adventure, Butterflies, Flying High and more! For older children, there are themes such as: Drama Queen, Hippie Chick, Jammin' (Music) and All Star Sports. There's even a Christmas themed kit that you can change out for the holiday season! If you don't see a kit that you like, you can just contact Fandangling and tell them what you want! That's right- you can customize your own kit!

I chose the Safari Kit for Balian's room, because we have had a Noah's Ark/Jungle Friends kind of thing happening in there. Now, after the Fandangling Kit arrived, I of course realized that we have no ceiling fans in our house! We live in an old craftsman style bungalow in the historic district of town, and all of the light fixtures are decorative. Luckily, the fixture in Balian's room is sort of chandelier-ish. So, I was still able to use the Fandanling Kit in his nursery. I simply tied them on, instead of adhering them to a fan blade (since there aren't any!). My idea worked perfectly. Balian now has five little stuffed animal friends dangling from the light fixture in his room. He's fascinated with lights anyway- so in fact, that 'light' was his first word! Now every time we step into his room, the first place he looks is up at the light fixture, and when he sees his Fandangling friends, he freaks out with excitement! We just have to go over to the light, I pick him up, and he touches each friend- the parrot, the tiger, the money, the giraffe, and the elephant! He loves it, loves it, loves it- and so do I! If he's cranky, I can just pick him right up, take him into his room, and he just lights up at the very sight of those Fandanglings!

Fandangling is such a neat idea! It's the perfect gift for a baby shower, birthday, Christmas, etc. It's even a great way to make a child feel like they have a room of their own away from home, like at a grandparent's house, or they'd be super fun to use in a game room or play room. Parents love Fandangling as much as the kids do, and I can see why! I recommend this neat idea to anyone with children! Your child's room will be envied for sure if they they have a cool kit from Fandangling adorning their fan or light fixture! Fandangling receives my Mommy Stamp of Approval, because it's innovative, fun, safe and it won't interfere with normal fan use!
