🧩 Piece by Piece: A Little Stress Relief with Completing The Puzzle Subscriptions

The Back-to-School season is stressful. New classes, teachers, potentially schools, harder materials make for long tiring days. Downtime is definitely needed, but as the light eventually shifts to darker earlier; outside activities aren't always options.

For my family, puzzles and games are the ultimate go-too. It gets everyone off the electronics, spending time together (or perhaps some much- needed solo time), and allows for creativity to flow.

Yet, puzzles create problems.

    Storage issues

    Missing Pieces

    One & Done Adventures

    Broken Boxes

Completing The Puzzle came up to a solution for all these things and more! A subscription service that delivers puzzle directly to your door on your own terms.

We are currently in a 3- month subscription, which started around Mid- August. Gifted to my niece Abbie, for her birthday, because she loves to be a puzzle-creator, this subscription has helped her out a lot. It's given her some grounding time, solo time, and reset time in the crazy life of an almost 16 yr old.

How does it work?

Sign-up for your puzzle adventures by selecting your plan and puzzle creation frequency. Options vary but include opportunities for one- four puzzles at a time. A puzzle needs to be received before a new puzzle can be shipped out, so there are a few days in between.

The puzzle arrives in the mail to your door. A shipping label is included so that when you are finished, it can be shipped back quickly. Your mail carrier may take it, or you may decide to drop it off at a nearby postal option yourself; depending on your housing.

What comes with it?

Save the outer shipping back, as that is what you will use to return your puzzle.

The puzzle itself is in a zippered bag within that, and contains cards of the puzzle, instructions, and a return label.

What are some things I should know?
  • When setting up your account, it will ask you to take a puzzle preference quiz. For Abbie, the first puzzle was difficult, so she decided to send it back and request something different. I believe you can change options about piece sizes and difficultly levels along the way.. you aren't locked into anything specific. All of that info is saved in your account.
  • There's no rush to complete so you can enjoy on your own times. The flip side is that if you are a fast puzzler, you can send it back right away and move on to your next masterpiece.
  • There is a $5 fee for sending a puzzle back with missing pieces.
  • Puzzles are hand-inspected, santized, and filtered before sending them out to the next customer.
  • If you happen to received an incomplete puzzle, reach out to customer service right away. Don't wait until you send it back, as you might be charged. But that really shouldn't happen as they inspect before shipping.
  • Puzzles can be bought if you love them and want to keep it!

We love the puzzle subscription for many reasons!

It provides an effective hobby, a way to relieve stress, but also is quite easy to transport.

Visiting family at the holidays? Take it with you.

Going on vacation? Take it with you.

Staying at home because there's no school break for a few months? Set-up a puzzle nook somewhere in the house where sticky hands and grimy paws can't get it to it.

No matter the reason, Completing the Puzzle subscription is a great gift for all puzzlers and their families!

Grab a subscription as a gift. Help your teen make it through the stress of back to school season.

Or just wait until the holidays and gift the entire family a subscription so time can be spent together!
