VoiceGift Your Love This Mother's Day!

Thanks to VoiceGift for providing these products in exchange for this review. All thoughts are my own.

For those of us who do not live near our families, travel for certain holidays can be difficult. For me, Mother's Day is one of those holidays.  May is such a busy time and it's almost near impossible for me to take the time off it would require to travel to Maryland to see family.

Sure, phone calls and video chats are great, but sometimes, we just miss hearing the voice of our loved ones. I know I sure miss the voices of grandparents and others in my family who are no longer with us.

This is why VoiceGift is the perfect addition to any holiday gift, but especially Mother's Day! Send personalized audio greetings with your gifts, allowing your mom to hear your voice whenever she wants. Of course, the opposite works as well- Mom could also send you a VoiceGift for your birthday or other celebrations!

Voicegift has several options to personalize that perfect Mother's Day Gift:

VoiceGift Tags

With the ability to record up to 60 seconds of messages, the VoiceGift tags are perfect for greeting cards and attaching to gifts of any kind! Moms will love hearing the voices of your family, especially the kids. The Tag comes with string so that it can virtually be placed anywhere- and is mailable too! Be sure to read instructions on recording and saving before sending though. The selector switch must be in the play position so that your message isn't erased.

It is fairly easy to record: Using a pen, press the record button down and listen for a beep. Record your message (or messages), music, or whatever sounds you want your mom to hear, and release. Flip to the front to playback and check to make sure all is well. Place the selector to play so the recording isn't erased too.

VoiceGift Tags can be purchased indivudually or multipacks, depending on your preferences. There is a battery that shouldn't have to be replaced, but if so, it's easy to change them out.

Voice-Over

This device has some cool features to it. It can be attached to gifts; such as picture frames. The Voice- Over can be set to play immediately or it can be set for light- sensitive situations (such as being placed in a box/ cookie tin, and then it will play upon opening).

The Voice-Over also records up to 60 seconds of memories; with the ability to add multiplate messages too. Using a pen, the recording works the same way as the tags, although I must admit I had more difficulties with this one.

Double-sided mounting stickers and play stickers are also included with this device. The Play sticker would go on the front of the gift and align with the device on the back.

I think the Voice-Over is perfect for those gifts you want mom to always hear your voice- or maybe a special song, poem, or story. It can be attached to picture frames, placed inside gifts, or used as a memory type situation that mom can hold!

PLAY

This might be my favorite of all the VoiceGifts because it gives the option to record up to 10 hours of audio! This play device is like a remote, with numbers on it. When recording, one would press a number to record whatever they wish- recipes, memories, scrapbook events; etc. Afterwards, when the person listens, they will need to press that number to hear that audio.

The play device can record up to 999 voice notes! That's a lot of memories, stories, and family history right there!

The play remote comes with a headphone port and a USB rechargeable battery; so that your memories last a long time. Don't worry about losing it either, because with a book clip, it won't go anywhere.

No pen is needed for this one, as all you do is press record, record your audio, then press play!

I think that this version is perfect for grandma's who don't live near their grandchildren. Maybe they want to share their favorite stories, recipes, or prayers. Maybe they want to relay their family history on to their children and grandchildren.

The PLAY option can also be used as a gift to moms and grandparents. Maybe you share your favorite childhood memories, or share events/ memories of your own children with your parents too. Those crazy funny moments combined with the loving serious moments are the ones we want to save for the future.

I really wish I had this option during the last few years of my grandfather's life. We have the old voice recorder somewhere, but those get harder to playback and get distorted after years of use. I would love a device such as this and highly suggest you look into it to build great memories with your family!

Other VoiceGift Options

There is also a PLAY Child option too. Grandparents (or aunties) could record their favorite books, and the child would press the corresponding icon to hear the story.

There are some other VoiceGift options that will make keepsaking family memories special: mini-me's that can go inside stuffies, memory boxes, and even video books!

VoiceGift is perfect for Mother's Day!

Now, VoiceGift does suggest that you utilize their devices to record your human audio voice. It may not pick up speakers that well, but I'm sure physical instruments would be fine if you are close to the device while recording. You just might need to experiment a bit!

This Mother's Day, check out VoiceGift as a way to share your memories and gift with the ones you love. Be prepared for the tears to flow and your mom to say how much she loves this gift and misses you!
