Today’s Reminder for Women: You Don’t Have to Carry Everything

Somewhere along the way, many of us learned that being a “good woman” meant being everything to everyone.

The planner.
The peacemaker.
The emotional support human.
The one who remembers birthdays, keeps the house running, checks on everyone else, and somehow still shows up smiling. But today, I want to remind you of something simple.
You don’t have to carry everything.
You are allowed to put things down.
You can put down the expectations that were never yours to begin with.
You can put down the pressure to always have the answers.
You can put down the guilt that sneaks in when you take time for yourself. Some days survival is enough. Some days the win is just getting out of bed, drinking your coffee while it's still warm, and remembering that you are a human being not a machine designed to meet everyone else's needs.
And if you're in a season of life where your body is changing, your emotions feel louder, or you're wondering who you are now compared to ten years ago… you're not alone. Not even close.

So today, give yourself permission to:
Rest without explaining why
 Laugh at something ridiculous
 Say no without guilt
Take care of yourself the way you take care of everyone else

You deserve the same compassion you give so freely.

And if nobody told you today you’re doing better than you think.
